Had my eVic roll out of my hands, and hit the bottom of my truck before coming to rest on the asphalt the other day. Everything is working fine, but since then I have noticed that when I pocket carry with an evod or a protank on it the top of the control head becomes skewed. I can pop it back on with no problem, but I am curious to know if anyone else has done any preventative maintenance to their control heads to fix this issue? This is the first release of the eVic with no screws in the control head's top piece. Thinking about simply gluing it down. Anyone recommend a different approach? (All in all, my eVic has survived quite a few drops. I am surprised it has remained undamaged this long.)

I think he is talking about the threading part, the flat cap is an addon not the threading part that new version have the 2 screw to prevent poping out.

It is the threaded part (I am assuming it is press fit from the factory?) that is coming out. I may go the epoxy route. If so I will let it cure while the cap is off so I can have the option of changing the cap later on. May wait until my mvp comes in from fasttech before I do it. Would rather use it for a day or two than either my vamo backup or one of my mechanicals. Have stopped pocket carrying while an evod or protank is attached in the mean time.

Yea.................I think you are handing out BAD advice here.
You do not do Preventative anything on a sealed unit. IF it pops apart then you correct it, but many have No issues and no reason to risk Damage trying to separate the head parts.

No he is NOT talking about the Screw on Top(front) Cap Don't ever glue that in place. If a removable bottom device gets stuck, removing the cap allows access.
