I got an evic about a month ago, and all of a sudden it went completely dead. I went to charge it and now it's all messed up. When I unplug it after charging it still says "charging" then says "uploading" under that when its not connected to the charger or usb. It also doesn't auto detect the tanks like it used to when I screw a new one on. Anyone have something similar happen with their evic? I tried removing the battery and that didnt fix the problem.

hmm sounds tricky... before you do anything drastic , see if the my vapor record will recognize it. sometimes u need to reinstall the software. If it does try reloading the firmware or upgrade it or even down grade it. and see if that helps. if no luck , well.. i hate to be the bearer of bad news buuuuuuuut lol...
i did have one that went out on me. not quite like yours but it got extremely hot and would make a weird high pitched humming noise until it completly fried out. i eventually bought a new head. anyways im just giving my own a

of advice. hope it all works out for youThere is some sort of issue with the usb port from what I have been hearing. Go to the subforum that discusses model specific issues. I have heard about this in a few posts.
