If you haven't already, install the MVR software and see if it recognizes it. If so, you should be able to flash it to recover it. If the standard v1.2 firmware update doesn't work, try downloading the factory default file from the firmware downloads on
joyetech's website. Flash that, and then upgrade to 1.2, and you should be good to go. They have that firmware file there for specifically this recovery type situation. If you can't get your PC/MAC to recognize the
device, though, you're kind of SOL. Will need to see if you can claim some sort of warranty either with the vendor or
joyetech.

Place it in the HEX folder in the MVR program's install directory, or if using a MAC, place the firmware file on your desktop. This will be a "code.bin" file. Then "upgrade" the evic using MVR, and it will flash the reset file. Then replace that code.bin with the v1.2 code.bin and upgrade it again back to v1.2.
And here is how to recover if it's not recognized copy and pasted directly from their PDF guide on how to recover the evic:
Method 2

2. If it successed to wake up the eVic,the computer will display the USB equipment icon
3. Then you can use MVR to upgrade the eVic again.
