Just curious what are the screws holding together?

The two screws pass through the top plate of he control head and go all the way though and screw into the bottom plate of the control head. They were added to resolve an issue that some people had with the top plate of the control head popping off.

Finally popped one of mine. Got it caught on the string from my Nemesis Bag in my lunch box. Sent it flying into a Freezer at work. Fortunately I got my foot against it just as the top popped off and stopped the momentum. No broken wires and it pressed back together.
Works great, so I will probably separate it gently and run a decent glue seal around it.
Still can't believe it took this long. I have beat this one silly for 10+ months.

Thanks for explaining this to me...I was wondering where the screws were. I never knew about the tops popping off...I got a V1 on clearance to make room for the V2 and couldn't really tell the difference from the pictures so I figured "why not?" Now that I've read this, with my luck, the next time I touch it the thing is going to explode...I guess it's off to the auto parts store to get a bit of gasket seal maker in the morning just to make sure. Glad I found this, even by accident. Seriously, sometimes you're the last person to know...yeah, that's this guy right here on this one...

Happy vaping and seriously thank you to the person who started this thread, because I wanted to ask and didn't :toast:
