Hi @clnire you meet the strangest people on these forums. Yep if my 3 that I've used keep working great at some point I might be able to make some money off the 2 SXM's LE's never been vaped on all I've done with them is upgrade to the latest firmware. I see people are asking 100-120 used. Collectors items. I kknow I'm gonna love em. I just couldn't see getting any more RX200's don't like having 6 batteries tied up for 1 mod. I like the single battery. I never vape above 25w don't need to with Ti it ramps up so quick. This RX sure does work well. I'm really pleased with it now if they would just come out with manual TCR would make it complete. It is pretty amazing getting 2 full days on a set of batteries. But I might just use it with 3 then it will be down whilst I charge them. They lowered the price at Vape NW to 39.95. Who'd a thunk you would be able to get a TC mod for that price. Especially when it is so solid. These minis are more to what I like though.

Resistance 0.17ohm firmware 3.0 color black

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's the build, wire, coil, wraps

If you put in your coil details into the Steam Engine link ^^^^ above

Does that work out to 0.17

Also not sure if the black was most accurate colour ;)

i'm about to pull the trigger and order one of these. primary reason is the user defined tcr value that is available with the 3.0 firmware upgrade. i'm seeing two versions of the mod tho... 60 and 75 watts. are both of these able to be upgraded to the 3.0 firmware?

Yes

Been a few updates since released at 60w

And all the 60w became 75w when they ran those updates.

Anyone have any idea why I use SS mode when vape it will change back to power mode?
I have locked my resistance and I using ss316L by UD

A weak battery could cause it. Also be sure all the connections are tight and that there's no excessive voltage drop. What atty are you using?

FWIW, using a higher resistance build might make for a better result. Somewhere around 0.5- 0.6 ohms would be where I'd start. You can go all the way up to 1.5 ohms w/v3.0 FW.

Sounds like you're using a dual coil atty. I definitely recommend going for a higher resistance. For some reason stainless steel in TC seems to work best if it's around .5 ohms. Also, try making spaced coils. Contact coils can be hit or miss. I've only had the VTC throw my SS builds into power mode with contact coils.

My dual coil works fine in the Billow v2 Nano at 0.16ohm

Eats juice and batteries as am constantly tugging on it

That's nice to hear. It isn't quite as easy to make a reliable SS dual coil build for TC compared to a single coil. @Chibbit was having trouble getting his dual coil build to stay in TC. If you have advice for him beyond my suggestions (use spaced coils, test fire the coils in watt mode to ensure even heating and work out any hot spots, tighten the connections, & build higher ohm coils) please post it. We can use as much successful build suggestions as we can get.

All you need do for contact coils is strum the wraps between pulsing to work out the shorts and hot legs like you would with KA1
