I really would LOVE for people to stop saying " mines working fine it must be user error". I'm 100% sure it's not user error with 95% of these cases on this forum. Maybe 1 or so people didn't put a good build or maybe it was warm but wow we aren't all stupid. Many of us have many TC devices that work fine with the same tanks were using on the VTC mini.

Sorry to hear that and welcome to the club.

Have you tried a high end atty or a tiny gauge build? ;)

I'm using an authentic Vaporshark Vortice RDA which is a really solid dripper. I might try my Tilemahos v2 tank. Funnily enough, my brother has no issues with his Velocity clone.

What I've noticed is that the problem never occurs if I lock the device and leave it to idle. When I unlock it again even after hours it vapes perfectly. However, when I'm at home I rarely remember to lock it and it frustrates me immensely.

What has Joyetech said when they reviewed your support request you filed with them about your issue? Surely they replied to your concerns by now, did they not? Did they just blow you off? Did you report the issues to your vendor as soon as you became aware of them and request support? You were Ecig.com so you have no recourse with your vendor for a swapout for another unit or were you the Vapenw guy?

With all due respect:

Did you start a dedicated thread yet where all of you could report your issues, compare your batches & S/Ns, workarounds and communications with your vendors & Joyetech regarding your issues that aren't cluttered by superfluous posts? I would literally be posting copies of every communication and response received from my Vendor or Joyetech themselves and adding links to them in future communications so they can understand that they are being called to account for support of a malfunctioning product. Since there are obviously enough of you out there to show this isn't just user error this thread you start will grow very quickly as more people see you taking action to correct this issue and join in as they overcome their fear of speaking out and being criticized for not knowing how to coil an atty properly. As it grows you gain more leverage to get the issue resolved with Joyetech or your vendor. Once you get the thread established it can be replicated on other vaping sites around the world fairly easily to force the manufacturer to take corrective action.

Getting frustrated and mouthing off to people for posting a positive experience with a mod in a thread you frequent to complain about you mod, especially when most of them are sincerely trying to help out based upon their personal experience with the mod doesn't seem very productive. Please understand that I am trying to help you out by suggesting this as a more productive route of action to solve your issues.

First of all I'm not thrashing the people trying to help there are quite a few trying to come up with solutions beyond the simple your not doing it right that 10 or more people have said on this thread. I understand when an issue arises you start with the simple things and I'm fine with that I believe everyone has done those simple TC procedures til there head was spinning with no luck. It just seems some people come here and read the last page or two and say it's user error and are basically insulting people in some ways. I don't mind help and especially because some of these temporary fixes have helped such as using titanium in nickel mode and using SS in titanium mode at 200f and up. It's the repetitive things that agrevate me. On another note I emailed joytech the other day with no response so if it goes another day without hearing from them I will repeat. I agree with you that we should start another thread with just the problems and possible solutions with the device and point joytech in that direction so maybe we can get some answers or replacements. I'm sorry if I come off a little harsh sometimes but I bought this device for my wife and it just gets to me that she has a crappy device that VapeNW says is working properly with more then enough evidence that it's not. I really appreciate the help a bunch of you have gave me and maybe after work I'll start a new thread for problems with evic VTC mini.

In these threads I often look at just the last page and don't realize that suggestions I make have already been covered after the fact. It happens.

I would post Vapenw's response right in the thread. If a vendor is repeatedly offering bad support, they will accumulate. I've ordered there a few times with no issues.

You any good with google forms? I've seen that people use it for coop order spreadsheets and polls here and if someone knows how to set one up a spreadsheet might be made to sort and organize posts from the thread and complaints into a more understandable format on an individual's running experience. Just a thought.

Yeah I get what you mean with going to a new thread and reading the last couple of pages. I just usually assume if the thread is more then a couple pages that someone has stated the simpler things. But no big deal I just like to have the support on this forum. And maybe I'll ask my wife after work to help post the videos I sent and atleast the response they gave me.

This is what they said to me. Later on I'll try to copy and put what I sent to them.

"I do apologize about the issues that you are having with the device but the issue that you are describing is also with the evic full size's it is just how the chip works it is not a defect with your unit.

Josh, VapeNW Management

Thank you for all your support!"

There is some truth to that as I have seen people reporting same issues with the VT.

I would say no. I've tried every one of these suggestions for temporarily fixing the problem and that's what it does, you get a good vape for a few mins maybe 30 mins then crap vape again. The only thing that's been the best solution is use SS in titanium mode at 200 and up a little or use titanium in ni200 mode at 100f or less. It seems like those to things work but ni200 just really seems not to work well with the faulty boards.

My fix is to only use it in power mode. Unfortunate because I like the box and screen. I'll use it for kanthal builds.

Be careful with posting verbatim email transcriptions to and from Vendors, they are not allowed on ECF. I would start a conversation with a moderator to get a clear ruling on what you can and cannot post in that thread.

Wasn't aware of that and seen it done many times. Did not mean to give bad advice.

I didn't know that. I knew you weren't supposed to just say lies and things along those lines but I wanted people to see " " what they said to me. If ECF wants to delete that's fine. And I know that there were issues with the VT but they were atleast consistent issues that you could usually just turn the temp urand it's done. I'm just confused with the word defect. I thought that meant not working as intended. Because when the majority of people have great working devices and let's say 5% or less are working miserably I would say that is a defect. I'm close to giving up on this I'm using to much energy for half a days worth of work down the drain. My wife may be getting a new ipv d2. Lol

or has the anemic vtc syndrome

please refer below

ti can be used on ni mode, hits a bit better actually a lot, without the temp thing
ss wires can be used on ti mode, start with 200f

From my past experience with other issues a two week delay before I got a response from Joyetech was what occurred. Usually a two or 3 day response time to followup correspondence once ticket was opened.

O yeah I didn't think about that week or so holiday. I'll wait a little while and try again but this is seeming more and more like it's not worth these troubles. I just hate paying for something that doesn't work and just keeping it even though there is a 90 day warranty.

Well if it wasn't firmware upgradable your issue would be cut and dry, it's failing to perform as it should...warranty. But they can simply put you off saying an update will fix the issue.
