Ok, here's my problem of the day. I bought the full kit with the Ego One Mega Tank. My tank is stuck on the mod. I cannot get it off. At least my VTC mini is vaping pretty good right now. It seems to have settled in and I am getting a lot less anemic vapes. I have tried everything to get this tank off except putting it in the freezer. Do you think that would help? I hesitate to bring it to my local B&M, since I didn't buy it there. Yes, I have been vaping long enough to know not to over tighten tanks to mods, but I guess I did this time!

The 'Burgh, PA.
I think it's 20A continuous and 35A pulse. Some sites use the 35A rating because we typically only vape 2-5 second draws, which may qualify as a burst for the battery.

IMO they should all sell it as a 20A battery which is what it really is.

dimo...you're 100% correct...3000mAh...20A constant current and 35A maximum pulse...

Prices for LG HG2

Hi Jingles!
There is a flaw with the tank design and a few good solutions here:

I see another video up on YouTube about the VTC mini and it not working in Ti mode. No commentary or written description with this, so I assume it accompanies an email or post somewhere for Joyetech.

Wondering when Mr busardo gonna get around to tearing the mini apart, it would be good to get something proved on this by a known reviewer for leverage with joyetech. Saying that they probably sent him working examples like ALL the reviews I watched b4 I ordered!

Try wrapping a big elastic band around the base lots of times for grip and protection and easing off with some slip jaw pliers, not that I'm speaking from experience of course.

You can be guaranteed that there will not be any issue with Phils version, I bought the mini to on all the good reviews thinking they had fixed the VT's problems.... Ha Ha Ha now that's funny.

I'm waiting for him to put the IPV D2 through his tests as well.

Now that brings back the ghost of the Nautilus mini, trying to get that tank apart. :D

I did exactly the same thinking surely they couldn't make the same mistake twice  doh!

Well, my vtc arrived and is held at customs. Just got mail that they need proof of pricing. So basically they are gonna add 25% tax to the price i paid for the device, and additional "customs fees".
Bah. If it arrives and is faulty I'm gonna be .......

I have an order from FT on the way too. Curious if they have troubles shipping here also

BIG +1 - Excellent post.

I would think if I emailed Joyetech with my issue & they did not respond I would Email them again, attaching the original email and express my disappointment in their apparent ducking of their after sales service responsibilities. I would threaten to post my experience on e-cigarette forums across the world Warning the Vaping Community to think twice about buying a Joyetech product because they do not respond to after sales service request in an effort to have the warranty time out before they are forced to service the warranty.................<snip>

I ended up stopping at my local vape store to get my tank unscrewed. They were very nice about it, but it wasn't easy for them either. I did make a $45.00 purchase from them last week, so I don't feel too guilty about not buying anything today from them.

Job done, how'd they do it. Pair of pliers and a blow torch? How do you get on with the Ego mega if you don't mind me asking?
