"Hello friend, here's a random question or suggestion that we know you tried or won't work, bye".
Don't get me wrong, i still love the mod and it does work nicely on Ni mode. But it's not completely functional and they won't even admit it after heaps of evidence and reports.
dont buy their stuff anymore.
You both made good points (I edited your posts to save page height

)
The life cycle of these products is short, a few weeks warranty as best that isn't really a warranty because lets face it these companies don't really care and there is the english barrier. I felt like my email wasn't understood and I too got the 'Dear Friend, random words unrelated to your problem' email.
That's why I liked my SVD 2.0 is was literally bullet-proof, huge but bullet-proof.
JT have a very aesthetically pleasing product that is well made and a unique screen layout which is the way forward IMHO but it's not there for me on a technical level. It's a shame they're not looking after the people with issues because it means when Innokin (or whoever) copies their vertical layout in their next mod with TC, that's the one I'll be getting.
The tech is developing quickly and kudos to evolv for pushing things forward. I think this tech could be a middle ground until we get actual temp sensors in the atomisers by which time studies will have been done into how the coil metal 'off gases' and it turns out we really shouldn't have been using (*insert metal here) at all as it's actually quite toxic!
There's a lot of work to be done and we're all guinea pigs at this point. It's just a shame that when you hit a speed bump like this (a faulty unit) that our little eco system falls apart.
I could have paid double and bought locally, so even if I do decide to buy another when the dust settles I'm still not out of pocket really. The unit, if made properly is worth $100 'in the real world' all day long so the fact you can pick one up for $40 is crazy. It kinda shows you how much we're ripped off with everything else we buy!
JT have got their money out of me and that's it I guess. I'll continue to use it in power mode and catch the TC wave next time round.
