I'm very careful about my vape purchases, I don't have loads of cash to be throwing around and I went for the VTC mini, great build quality, form factor, design, feel, screen, all of it, there's so much they've done right. IMHO it's the best mod out there right now at an incredibly affordable price.

I just wish it would behave itself! :)

I'm getting an Aromamizer RDTA in a couple of hours so we'll see if a different tank with a bit more space can coax it into playing ball.
That's exactly where I'm at right now, maybe a little worse. :D I can only afford to buy one new mod right now, so it has to be the right one, and it has to last for a little while, not all of the sudden die in a few weeks - buying a replacement for a dud would not be possible for awhile.

so where is the best place to get another one with free shipping right now? Efun has the best price, but i don't even wanna know how much the shipping to my new home would be :D
You should check it out. Shipping to here in US, they still came up cheaper. Plus, it was mentioned earlier in this thread that they may be shipping newer stock now (they've already sold out a couple of times).

Still very pleased with mine, glitchy TC and all. Mine hasn't given me a peep of trouble in Ni mode after getting locked in at .14 for my .15 coils, still have to test Ti on something besides the ego mega, will be picking up Ti TFV4 coils soon, really enjoying the clapton head that came with the mini kit!

    No you can't
It might be a good idea to have all the key combinations that are not indicated in the manual in one place.

With the device turned off (when it turns on just keep clicking until you reach the count):
    • 10 clicks on Fire: shows the VTC's internal temperature.
    • 20 clicks on Fire: shows the current firmware version.
    • Long press on - and Fire: shows the current battery's charge voltage.
    • Long press on + and -: changes the screen orientation.
Don't hesitate to add some if you know something not listed here.

I think it's possible that some could appear or disappear along different firmware versions, this is for 1.10

Has anyone ordered from efun? I'm skeptical since it's so much cheaper compared to anywhere else. I'm thinking of just ordering from Vapenw since I've had great luck with them, and I need a couple batteries also.

It looks like they have warehouse in China and the US. I'd probably just avoid them since I'm a bit impatient with vape mail lol. I'm still curious about them though. If I end up liking the Evic I could order another from Efun for dirt cheap, without even worrying about delivery time.

I have never ordered from efun but ask @Rockwell222 about his experience with VapeNW and the VTC mini...

Uh oh, doesn't sound good! I had a defective mod from them once and they shipped me a new one while letting me keep the defective. It's been a while, but I always had a good experience there personally.

He has a bad TC one and they basically told him that's the way it works, it wasn't defective... He can tell it better. ;)

I did. Just got it. 3 days shipping. They charge $5.20 for the shipping.
Now about the problems with the box. I can't get message about "New atomizer" displayed. Vapor is very weak and kinda on "cool" side even with 600F. I dont't have Ni or Ti wires. Just regular Kanthal 26,28, 29G . Tried with Lemo2,Magma and Kanger tank with a resistance from 0.5 to 1.9 Ohm . I have to increase power to get close to the vape what I'm getting with Cloupor Mini ,Kbox and Provari.
I've been playing for a 3 hours already with this thing without success.
Does someone knows how to reset this box? Thanks.
P.S My Magma doesn't sit flush with the "floating pin" and looks kinda crooked. Fits well on Kbox.

So wait, you are using Kanthal in TC mode? or am I just reading that wrong?

You can't use temperature control unless you use nickel or titanium wire! I'm not sure it's even safe with kanthal honestly. Thanks for your input though.

Sorry for bombarding the thread lol.

well for one not sure how you did it but kanthal wont work on temp mode
    probablt why its weak .

then again it should kick you to wattage ...

try power mode youd have better results

tc will only work on ti,ni,ss

I wonder if there was a miscommunication of some sort. Either way, that's a bummer.
I would REALLY suggest going somewhere else. I bought a DNA 200 and the VTC mini for my wife and when we got the VTC it had these issues a bunch of other people are having. VapeNW told me to send them a video of it malfunctioning and they would start the return process. I sent them a very detailed video of it dropping in resistance then giving a anemic vape. I then put the tank on another mod and showed that the tank worked fine. I then did the same with another tank and mod to show the VTC failing again and the other mod once again did well with the second tank. I sent both videos really believing that they would take care of me. And I told them if they simply looked at this thread it's very obvious that this is a faulty board/mod. They sent me a email basically saying that's how it works and they couldn't help me. I then called and asked for a manager and explained everything once again in great detail and he kept saying that's how they work. Now I own 6 TC devices and 2 DNA 200's I believe I know how TC is basically supposed to work. I tried to keep my cool during the conversation with VapeNW but it is difficult when they are telling you something that's not true. I asked him if he was in my shoes how he would feel and he said he was sorry, well sorry doesn't put a working mod in my hand. Before I ordered from VapeNW I did research on them and got mixed results. People said good things and some real bad things recently with returns and how they left people with clearly broken mods. I would suggest to go to any place but them, they treated me like a idiot and I had just spent over 200 in there store. There are a lot of other places that have good CS with the same products. If you buy from them just hope nothing is wrong with any of your purchases. Sorry for the rant I just can't stand awful CS especially when your spending hundreds at there store and they treat you like you bought a gum ball lol.

Well there ya go, Rockwell - YOU LICKED IT! How could they take it back?

I wish other places sold the extra battery covers though. Don't wanna go there even just for that.

Wow man, sorry to hear that. I would not have kept my cool at all. I can't believe they made you go through all that work just to turn you down honestly. That throws a curveball at my plan lol.

There are a lot more places to get them and you would pay close to the same price. If you need help finding a place I'll look around for you or I'm sure some other people here could suggest a much better place. It's ashame because my wife loves the look and feel of the mod. You live and you learn, when I saw those bad reviews of VapeNW I should have ran when I had the chance.
