I just vaped my tank bone dry using a 0.54 ohm 316 SS coil in temp mode. No trace of burnt cotton or a burnt hit.

The stainless steel temperature control works. The VTC never threw the coil out of TC mode and never changed the resistance reading. It's still early, but so far so good.

So after unlocking all the resistances in all the modes, leaving the tank off while it recharged, then pressing the fire button with nothing attached I put the SS tank back on, selected "New Coil", and locked the resistance in @ 0.60.

Earlier I posted a pic with the same tank vaping strong @ 230F / 40w. Now it seems to be working correctly @ 480F / 40w. Weird stuff.

Right behind you...
zeus01 .... I am presently in Dumaguete, but will be going back to the US on the end of this month.

Nice hearing from someone else here in the Philippines!

Cheers!

Lol, we used to prank the FNGs, telling them they had to bring back a San Miguel label to prove they made it off the ship and to Olongapo. One enterprising Lance Corporal made a photocopy. :)

I was a Red Horse fan myself.

@Mercster

bro can you try this?

downgrade all the way down to the first version and upgrade all the updates until the latest,1.30 or 2.00
see if it does anything to your device...
or fixes anything,,,

and try as well the without battery thing

opr anyone else who is suffering from the weak vape thing
I did that with 1.20, it made no difference, and I doubt it would with 2.0. As stated, it just completely re-writes the flash memory each time.

When I decided that I wanted to go to TC, it was strictly because when I tried the cylinder mod for the first time, I got cool vapor out of it - and really didnt like that, it's nothing like smoking a cigarette, and at this point I need something that's still close to smoking (only been off cigs for less than a month). So with that revalation, I started looking at temperature control.
Temperature control is generally going to give you cooler vapes than normal kanthal, like your nautilus. Though you can have warmth in TC, it's not actually what it's for.

If you want a hotter vape with the Nautilus Mini, just increase the wattage. I can't believe that the *tightest* setting on the Mini doesnt satisfy you...it's like pulling through concrete, much stiffer than a cigarette.

Dunno what else to tell you...

Oh man. I'm gonna have to buy A FEW of these now.
ROFL...there is a woman in the ECF IRC chat who buys nothing but Coolfire IVs, she has to get all the colors, then she buys multiple of the colors in case one dies or something. What is it with YOU PEOPLE?! ;)

I think this requires some clarification to avoid confusion for folks who are new to temperature control/limiting. It regulates at whatever temperature your preference is (not that "it's generally a cooler vape"). It's a cooler vape only if you want it to be. "It's not actually what it's for" is also misleading. If your set temperature is high enough then a warm vape is easily achieved. That's the beauty of it.

Dude, has to match the outfits!
I like mixing and matching. Interchangeable tanks and battery covers would be really sexy on this mod. :thumb:

OK granted...it's just that when someone says "I want a warmer vape", TC is not what I think of :p She can achieve a warmer vape with a non-TC mod...

Lmao, I have 3 Coolfire 4s. They're perfect for me for work. They're solid little mods honestly. That's pretty funny though.

Haha...I usually stick to black or blue mods and SS tanks...but I do have the eVic VTC Mini in white and it looks MEEEAAAAN with a black Freemax Starre Pro on it...or my black Billow v2.
