Hello, I was wondering if you have to lock in the resistance even when you're in wattage mode using standard coils. Thank you.

No you lock resistance when you're doing TC, in wattage mode it's perfectly fine to unlock.

You can, but it isn't necessary in wattage mode.

Sorry for the next been question, but how much of a step up (upgrade) would the evic vt be compared to my Evod vv 1600?? I suppose what I mean is, is the evic vt more powerful/better hit and vapor production than my Evod vv 1600?
