So iv been firing my evic vt with ego one mega tank and then locking the resistance at .22 instead of. 20 and it seems like it's a way better experience overall

That is just giving you an inaccurate temperature setting.

I would recommend actually locking the right resistance and adjusting the temperature instead. This way you'll know what is your preferred temperature for the device

I've done the same thing. I noticed on mine that after a while I keep having to bump up the temperature to get the same vape. By letting it lock in just a little bit higher it seems to stay consistent. I also have experimented with telling the Evic that my titanium wire is nickel and setting the temp about 100 degrees cooler and get the same result. 350-380 is perfect in this setup.
