Yup. It's a stealth inclusion in the Updater download.
Now when you unzip it you'll find both the 1.10 and new 1.20 .bin files.

I don't think it fixes our TC issues though.
But it is 75w in both Power and TC modes. Rockin' :D

Sorry VT owners. :(

Got TC issues with the VTC? I have not tried the TC function yet.. Can share the issues you had?

Thanx

The massive VTC thread here, the entire second half is us discussing the TC issue.
Short version... after sleep, it wakes with a slightly lower res reading, resulting in a very anemic vape.

I'm testing now with the v1.20 but no joy so far. Need to update that thread soon, or see who else has commented.

Was the res locked?

Yes Chia, with it locked.

WarA... I wouldn't call it just for show, though with the issues I can see your point.
There is a memory register and yes it may be getting referenced, lock or no.

It does something no TC mod should do... locked or not, when it wakes and determines a LOWER res.
That's just not physically possible with a warm coil. So something is borked... board, solder, chip, who knows.

But it doesn't jump to a higher res (on mine at least) and that's what the locks are for.

Unless it's just using the register and the padlock is "just for show". :p

eta: Ha... you may have just convinced me. I just did a quick test without the lock and the res did not rise. I only loosened and reseated the atty, selecting "same coil" so it still had the register value. But it shouldn't work that way. Would have fried a coil on half my other TC mods.

Glad to help :p, although I must say I reckon the issue being on TI. Personally have only used once TI (due to laziness in doing wipe downs), must say the weak vape on TI mode is probably what I experienced on evic prior to not using TI altogether. Will have to check it out replacing my Ni coils with TI later.

edit: Ni works fine for me so far no issues with resistance jumping all over the place.

The res lock function is just to lock the display, initial ohm are already locked into memory. As to their issue of ghost jumping resistance, I have not faced any ohm fluctuation YET on any of my NI coils (cross finger)

Most if not all of my TC mods lock initial ohm as well (ipv4s, xcube2, koopor mini) so I'm not very sure about "locking" resistance. All 3 of them provide ways to reset ohm resistance without removing arty. However there's no way to reset eVic vtc mini one other than waiting for it to cool and replace.
