EVIC VTC Mini Question

Looking to pick one up and give SS TC a go.

I just want the mod/box itself. Do not need or want the tank.

I see there is a V1 and V2. Is the tank the only diff? The standalone mods I have found do not have a version listed.

The tank and the firmware. The v2 kit comes with the tRon tank and 2.0 firmware (Ss support, new screen layout) pre-installed I believe.

If they don't say, then it''s probably v1 and you'll have to go to the joyetech site and upgrade to 1.3 or 2.0 yourself to get the SS tc support. 1.3 gives SS but keeps the old style screen layout if I recall correctly.

That is what I figured. Thanks for the reply. Just put in an order. To taste funny to me so I hope SS is the answer I'm looking for.

Just buy it without the tank. Its dirt cheap for such a great device and a V1 flashes fine to fw 2.0 to support SS & 75W. Not sure about the new tank but the original one isn't worth the extra money imo...
