I'm relatively new to vaping and trying to get my head around all the products and opinions (my, there are lots of opinions) out there.

I'm looking getting a VV unit - and am deliberating between the EVO and the Lava Tube 1.5T. The Provari is a bit out of my comfort zone for investment in vaping right now.

I currently have a Riva (1100 mah) and would like to move into using cartos (Boge and Firebird bottom Coil) and tanks (DCT and Vivi Nova) with both the Riva and the APV.

Any opinions or suggestions?

I don't have any experience with either one of the units mentioned, but I was considering the EVO when I was looking into getting into VV. The reason I opted not to get the EVO was the fact that it's not a true VV. As in, it is a selectable VV, you can only vape at the settings that it gives you. The Lava tuibe was out of the question, because I didn't want a thick PV to carry around daily.

I opted to purchase 2 900mah Twists from DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo. Not sure if he has them back in stock, but at the time it was the best deal at $23.99 each, plus an eGo charger for $6.99. The 650 was too small and the 1000mah, to me, was just a little too long. The Twist is excellent at producing the voltages that it states, it's nice and comfortable in your hand, and it just works great!. check out Steeljan's review of it, you might be surprised at what this little APV can do:)

I've opted to try the Ego Twist ... should be getting it in a couple of days. From what I've read and heard, it sounds like a good introduction to variable voltage and has a very affordable price.

Once I've had a chance to play with it, I'll pop back to let you know if I love it or will hate you forever for steering me wrong. ;)

i have the young june 1.5t LT, it was my first VV. but as someone else stated m, its just too big for my daily activities. then i opted for the ego twist. i now own 3. lol. 2 black and purple 650s, and a 1000 stainless steel. they are absolutey perfect in every way. IMO. the lavatube RIPS! thats for sure. but if you need something smalled, ALOT smaller, then get the twist. altsmoke.com has all the colors in stock now too. purple, green, red, blue, pink, SS, black

I use my SS Vtube at home, and the Twist is one of the devices I might take out for the day. They both have their place, but comparing them is pretty much apples and oranges to me. The Twist is a battery with a finite life span that will require replacement, the Vtube is a battery mod with internal circuitry, built in protection, an LED, and battery guage. The Twist is very portable, not so much the 18650 VT. My twists are great for VV when I'm out and about, but I compromise on the power and life span of a big chunky batt. My Vtube hits "hard", has a one year warranty and all I have to replace are inexpensive batteries.

I think you will be very happy moving to the Twist.
