EVOD body on ARO Base...

Just in case anyone's interested: I mistakenly put one of my EVOD tanks on an ARO base, and didn't realize until after I started using it. So, that works...

ARO doesn't fit on EVOD base though... perplexing...

Odd. So is it just the base or is it the head&base that work? I'm curious if these heads are interchangeable between SmokTech and Kanger.

I wish it was the other way around. I have a ton of Kanger heads sitting around and nothing to put them in. I'm done with EVODs because they're plastic and I'm done with Protanks because they hit like crap.

I've put T3S heads in my ARO (and Evod/PT) Others have reported success putting Evod/PT heads in the ARO as well. Can't say about the bases being interchangeable.

If you are handy with a file or grinder the only differance I found is the flange is alittle wider on most kanger coils then the aro coils. Out of 15 kanger coils 1 of them had the same size flange.

I've seen a few posts here claiming that the aro heads will fit in a protank (but not the other way around) and that they improve protank performance.

I can neither confirm nor deny this claim, although it might make for an interesting experiement the next time I order some heads.
