Mind if I ask ..How do you know they are the real deal?
When I read this in the description "As with most of our Kanger products may or may not be branded" thats what put up a red flag to if its genuine or not. Both my kanger protank and T3 have Kanger etched onto it but my few fasttech evods look just like the picture, right down to the colors.
Perhaps "real deal" wasn't the right choice of words. My point was, they are evods and they don't have black mouth pieces.
Kanger doesn't etch except on the stainless, the rest are sometimes printed with "EVOD Bcc". If they aren't printed, you can generally tell by the heads that are included. For the one I got from fasttech, the tank part of the evod is the same, but the heads look cheap, the splines on the air "tube" are different, and the coils are wrapped like garbage compared to "real" heads (and in all fairness, they even confirmed they aren't genuine).
Oh, and just to add to the confusion, on Kanger's own web site, they show unbranded evods. Hell, they even show Protank heads with the longer air tube and tapered bottom as evod heads instead of protank heads.
So, bottom line is, you don't know you're getting genuine product regardless of who you're buying it from. Anyone can tell you they're genuine, but you have no way of knowing.
Personally, I don't care what is printed on them, as long as they work well. All I can say is that all the evods I got from Canvape have been great quality, and they vape perfectly for me, including all the replacement heads.
