My daughter and I vape at 50/50 - she uses 18 mg nicotine plus 1 flavor shot, I use 12 mg nicotine, sometimes with a flavor shot, sometimes without. I order both the 1.8 and the 2.0 ohm coils for us, and we are satisfied with the vapor production and throat hit that we get.

I forgot to mention in my other post that you can also clean the Evod coils to prolong their useful life, rather than just pitching them when they get gunked up. It does not take much time, and will save you a bit of cash until you have the time to start rebuilding the coils.

Can't find any in 2.0 ohm so I'm going to order a 5 pack of the 1.8 ohm and a 5 pack of the 2.2 ohm - I'll see which one I like better.

Can you explain how, exactly, you "clean" a head? I'd like to give that a try on some of the old ones.

I give them a quick rinse under running water, then soak a few hours to overnight in baking soda and vinegar, rinse under running water again, then let them air dry on a paper towel. A lot of people like to use Everclear or cheap vodka to soak. I don't always have cheap, unflavored vodka on hand, but I always have baking soda and vinegar. I have been managing to get at least 2-3 extra uses per coil doing this.

A lot of people also "dry burn" the coils to de-gunk them. Put your coil on your base, attach the base to the battery, and do short pulses until all the coils glow red. Rinse and dry the coils before using them.

If I were me I would avoid anything 1.8 ohm or lower. The Kanger design just gets too hot at 1.8 or 1.5 ohms even at your lowest voltage settings - you don't have any room to dial down low enough if you need to. 2.0 ohm is ok, I prefer 2.2 ohm or 2.5 ohm myself.

What he said. I do prefer a higher Ohm coil with my eVod, while I have used down to 1.0 Ohm the lower part of the tank seems to get hotter faster when chain vaping.

Keep in mind that's not a genuine Evod its a knockoff, and that coil you pictured doesn't even have a wick in it! Did it burn it up?

That's what I was thinking. Whatever happened to the wicks?? With that head installed, it's just going to dump the juice straight out the 510 connection.

It's there. It's just not showing very well being darkened from use.
