EVOD - What battery needed

Following advice from other members, I bought 2 Kanger Evod's. however, whenever I use them. I get decent throat hit but very little vapour. My batteries are 3 900 mah and power up my other clearomisers easily. The Evod's came withh a note advising that they need 4.2 to 4.4 volts from a battery. What voltage do normal batteries supply and what battery should I get to drive the Evod's.

Generally the voltage used will be determined by the resistance of the heads being used. Most egos (non twist) are 3.7v ish while ego twists(vision spinner, winders etc) are variable voltage adjustable from 3.2-4.8v.

what resistance are your evods and what kind of juice?

I get better results on my evods with a vv device - currently using the 2.4 ohms head at 3.8 - 4 volts, depending on the juice. I'll use them with a regular ego as well, but with a lower resistance coil.

i use mine on EGo twists i go from 3.7 to 4.3 depending on the juice im using at the moment

yeah it looks like you have got the high resistance heads.

You could shop around, to get some 1.8 ohm or have a go at rebuilding them.
