also,,,,,,,,I keep hearing different things,,,,,,

should I make my juice thicker or thinner???????? I hear that it's designed for thicker juice,,,,,,but then I hear others saying it's made for thinner juice,,,,,,,which one is it? LOL

I've been able to vape 60/40 without removing wicks, removing 1 on the Vapeonly and none on the t3 and evod. Maybe the head is less packed. Plumes of vapor.

If your liquid is lighter you might get flooding. Try adding wicks. But it vapes well 70/30 and 60/40

I think most vendors sell 2.5 ohm Evods, but you'd have to check with your vendor, or check the coil with an ohm meter. I've been using clearomizers since last spring, and really like them. They're bigger, easier to fill and you can see how much juice you have left. You get used to the airiness.

I make my juice about 80/20. I get a little juice on the battery, but I don't know if that's caused by thin juice.

BTW - Congrats on your one year Vaporversary.

J.R.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having better luck with it today :) Maybe it just takes some getting used to,,,,,,,

Having better luck with 60/40 than I was with 70/30,,,,,,,,thanks for the ideas!

Received my first 4 evods today. I love the look and feel of them and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of them as they're smaller than the CE5's I've been used to, I imagined them to be bigger for some reason.

I've filled 2 and both give me gurgling and popping. I've used 50/50 juice in one and 70/30 in another. I'll read back through this thread as I'm determined to eliminate the annoying gurgling/popping because the flavour and vapour production is just AMAZING.

I've been vaping everything from 70/30 to 30/70 with no issues on mine...maybe it's luck?

Take a look at this blog --might help.

How to prevent Kanger T3 and eVod gurgling and leaking

I find that if I draw too hard, or too fast, it will start gurgling. When that happens, I turn up the voltage and vape SLOWLY until it stops, seems to work for me.

EVOD's are very nice, true. I only have two complaints with them: 1) Why do they have to have the metal case? What is the point of those? Why can't we just have a clear (or different colors as people seem to like that) device? I'm not blind by any means, but it's very hard to see where your juice level is unless you're outside in the daylight and 2) Why such a low capacity? 1.5 mils of juice goes by for me in just a few hours, and then I have to, well refer to #1 there...

I got that, too, when I first got mine. The popping stopped after a while of use. I forgot they did that until I read your post. I assume that they just needed some breaking in and I don't hear that anymore.
As for the gurgling, if I ever hear that, I look down the center post (while everything is still assembled) and I'll find some liquid down there (usually from my own over-filling it). I tightly roll up a corner of some toilet paper and stick it down that post to absorb the excess liquid that is making the gurgling. Once that's cleaned out, everything is right with the world again. :)

It is... I didn't get a single leak through the coil until I put 80/20 into it. So I end up cutting it with a 100% VG tobacco to get it close to 50 and all was well again.

It was the only time I've ever flooded the battery.. BCCs don't like really thin juices.

One stopped gurgling, the other carried on but the rolled up tissue sorted it, there was the tiniest bit of liquid there :)

I've refilled one of them today, it pops occasionally but nowhere near as bad as the first fill, at least it doesn't sound like I'm vaping popping candy now lol. Thanks for sharing your experience of the popping, I feel reassured now that this is just part of the breaking in process :thumb:

You should try the new T3S.

I'm not enjoying the evods as much as I thought I would. Everything is perfect except for the flavor - it provides too much of an oversaturated vape for my taste. My ADV tastes too sweet in it and leaves a weird feeling in my throat. The provided flavor is just a bit too nauseating for me. Its just too flavorful.. cheap liquids such as Mt Baker taste like straight chemicals in the evod.

Everything else about it is perfect - the draw, the looks, the capacity, the convenience, the cheap maintenance..

Bought some, cut them shorter, so I've got a gazillion. Slide down center tube as needed, or whenever cleaning.
