Pete, I must agree based on many comments by members I bought one. I have a most difficult time getting responses from John(busy is no excuse for poor customer service) AND I've noticed from all the videos, that the atomizer on mine has a WAY smaller mesh on it compared to the videos(and the picture on their website) If I could get a response I'd request a refund. As a side note, the batteries only put out 2.8 volts on a full charge(most ecigs 3.8-4.3 or so) I'm not sure if this is a design feature or not.I asked another user to spec out his voltage but have not heard back. And as others point out the carts do not last(even compared to my N-Pro, which is of comparable size) They remind me of my original "smoking everywhere" device.I am afraid I am one of the few that hasn't had a great experience at all with the Evo.... Two months, 4 dead batteries and 6 dead atomizers and all the hassle that went with it wasn't very good at all.
I see they are now offering the Black option on the starter kits and not just as a limited edition.WHOA, that's a really cooool-looking e-cig. I want one.
Greetings, igetcha, love your videos although I have to go over them a few times to understand what you say since I'm not familiar with the accent, but you do a great job demonstrating. Love the tips and maintenance guide. Question: Can I use a syringe and just put the needle into the white fluffy stuff to add juice, rather than pushing up the cartridge and removing the white stuff?
Also, found a video that explained why atomizers often die...and I'm sure my friend ruined both hers by leaving the cart on and twisting it so the atomizer wires broke...the top and bottom of the atomizer were no longer solid. I knew nothing about what was inside of the atomizer. Guess I need someone to draw me a picture, huh? The video was called, "Preventing Atomizer Damage" on YouTube. Do you have a video of stuff to absolutely NOT DO?
Love the EVO, too. I searched through your stuff for days and decided on an EVO and have never regretted it and I'm not switching either...I did just order a black one with the mighty atom from Intellicig. They are just great people! Thanks, Karen
I'm new here but my 2 cent... Just got my Black EVO and am in love. Most reviews I have read lurking around this forum I agree with. I went through three batteries of use before the throat hit emerged but now... heaven. Loads of vapor, great throat hit. A+. All I ever had was a 901 so take it with a grain of salt but IMO, no comparison the EVO is a far better product. the 901 kicked out the vapor just fine but had all kinds of faint metal and plastic tastes when it ran dry. Reliability was sketchy, atomizers were variable as were the batteries. And the 901 is the ugly girls at the ball compared to the prom queen EVO for looks. Plus I think dripping/dipping is much easyier using the M401/EVO type external atamizer vs. 901.
Dealing with intellicig:
No complaints. Had my emails returned promptly. They sorted out my shipping issues. Had my EVO and accesories 1 week from day of order (which was a saturday). Plus John through in an extra 25 carts and 20ml ECopure.
My only complaint is that shipping is steep. Hope that helps someone. I know these forums have been a huge help to me.
Thanks to everyone. Igetcha, teraphon and others... your reviews were a real help!
