evolution to high $$ big batt smart mods

Most of you are just starting so you may not be at this stage in vaping yet, but don't count yourself out because you may get the bug as it may turn into an avid hobby. I myself started with a 510 kit for $36 about a year ago and a 5v 510 passthough as backup which later on became a must have when starting out. When it came down to performance and battery life you soon don't care if it looks like an analog cig. Then I got a Riva Ego which was better and the battery lasted longer but of course wanted more. From there I tried the Hello 016 batteries and that was even better. At this point I had been using 510 LR atties with carts but started to try Boge cartos.

Now since all of those batteries are dead, I've been using a maxi Roughstack 2 from Madvapes stacking 2 protected 16340 batts. It hits great with the LR atties but I pulse fire the button otherwise you pop them. I thought I could've just started with the Roughstack but with having to invest in extra batteries, chargers, atties, cartomizers, etc is a larger starting investment.

It does a great job but still wanted more so I just ordered the Eclipse EQ because now I want VV, and an auto feed system, programmable juice feed sequence, usb pass though charging capability, capacitive touch. I don't mind dripping but it's not the most convenient or safe way to vape while driving.Might seem crazy to go from $36 to $300+ pv but with the feature set the Eclipse offers and after watching some of the videos on VapeTV, the Eclipse gives me everything I want in a PV.

Feel free to give your evolution in ecigs experience to big batt mods.

I know most everyone recommends the big EGo type e-cigs but I honestly don't see myself getting one of the big bulky models or do the drip tip thing. (This might be a bit of a chick thing, lol) I never smoked for a throat hit, so I don't care about that or having a lot of vapor. The two most important things to me is flavor and being able to hold the e-cig comfortably between my fingers. The only thing I don't like about the small e-cigs is battery life, but I'm currently planning on ordering a Halo G6 once I can afford it because I'm hearing great things about battery life.

I already ordered my EQ! I am #24 on the list. I like to direct drip but I am lazy. Any good box box is semi-expensive already and you have to manually squeeze it! Humanity moved on from the coffee press and the manual transmission for a reason folks! ;) Sure the "purest" still use them but the majority of people want machines to do the work for them.

I am a geek and it makes me happy to have a programmable PV. Many will dismiss it because of cost or complexity of the device but, the Evolution of vaping cost money. As does Made in the U.S.A.

10 years from now (if they have not outlawed vaping) this will be another mod you can build yourself for < $100. I expect Chinese knock-offs by the end of the year for around $200.

Cool man I'm excited about being in on this first batch also. I'm 73 out of 95 orders. I won't have to wait for bright scenes while watching tv so I don't miss the middle of the drip tip. This thing seems to be built like a tank plus the well should really help with not wasting juice. Keeping the atty wet will also help with longevity. Those guys at digitalcigs where really innovative designing this mod. I hope to get mine by early August.
