I really didn't want to sully any other thread about a review of the mod or anyone else's personal experience thread on Evolv or the Darwin. So here's mine.
Had a small issue with my Darwin, relating to the arm. I've noted that I thought the area was going to be trouble in my initial impressions of the model. It's no secret, I still think it's a weak area. That being said, I emailed customer support about the issue. They said to send it in. Long story short, I did and it arrived back to me in a couple days after I initially sent it. They sent it back Express Mail!
Here's the thing, my main hobby is RC stuff and I dump tens of thousands of dollars a year into that hobby. Let me repeat that; tens of thousands of dollars a year. Never, and I mean never, have I received the level of service and response from any of the companies that I do business with on that side like I received from Evolv. The Darwin costs me about 2 sets of blades for my helicopter hobby, to put things into perspective.
I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was at the level of service I have received thus far. I have absolutely no reservations about ever buying a product from them again, I would do so in a heartbeat. If this level of service is their norm (and from other people's reports it is), it clearly is unparalleled. If anyone had a question about their level of service and commitment to their customers, I hope this answers that question in spades.
