Why would it make it attractive to sub ohm vapers? 0.5ohms at 3.7v is 27 watts. 0.8 ohms at 3.5v is still just over the 15v max output of the kick! If you were running 0.5 ohms on a fresh battery (4.2v) you're looking at 35 watts, dropping to 24 watts when the battery hits 3.5v. The kick would do nothing but regulate all the power out of sub ohm
vaping.
It will however allow the building of higher ohm coils and give sub ohm (just) performance, which is probably a bit safer for the battery, and will make the battery last a little longer too
