hey everyone
so i quit smoking for about an year but went back to it. I'm planning to try and quit again using ecigs.
so i use to use the ego t and was wondering if anyone can suggest anything better than that.
the things i didn't like bout the ego t was how it always leaked on me and I've even bought the silicone caps. but it might be the juice i use. I'm allergic to pg base juices so i have to use pg free juice but don't know if thats the problem. so I've been out of the ecig world for a bit now and was wondering if there is anything new or better than what i have at home already. so any suggestions would help. I'm kinda planning on getting an 510 t just cuz its a bit smaller in size.....but I'm not sure if i wanna spend the money on a new ecig thats kinda like the ego t.
anyways thanks in advance!!!!

Hopefully some one here who is a 100% VG user will be able to suggest something that works well. I would recommend Boge cartomizers but with a thick juice you will have wicking problems. As for the battery size, if you go with the 510 as opposed to the Ego you will not have as much battery life, if battery life is important to you then I wouldn't recommend changing.

Since you need to use 100% VG based juices and already have ego equipmentI'd recommend looking into something like the stardust cartomizers. They seem to get a lot of praise, but I have no personal experience with them as I have no ego equipment. Also, look into thinning your juices a little with distilled water or PGA so you can use regular cartomizers without the wicking issues. It may dilute the flavor a little, but anything is better than that dry hit taste :). I mostly use Boge cartos and have been very happy with them and have no leaking issues.

Hi Dman, Welcome back. I use 100% vg with cartomizers. I too was not a big fan of the "t" style attys when they where popular. Theres a few ways you can use VG in a standard carto that I have used and found to work. The first easiest thing would be to find some cartos that have a looser packing material. There are so many that are built this way but I prefer the Kanger 2.0 ohm horizontal coil units for this task. When I was bought VG liquids they where very up to task. If you are going to powervape you may have to pace yourself as the VG will take longer to travel down to meet the coil. The second thing you could do would be to find a vendor that makes or uses an intentionally thinned VG liquid. Its thinned with water to make it easier to use in cartos and tank systems. There are many liquid vendors that make juice to order so asking them to thin the VG liquid is always worth a shot. This would open up your possibilities to use a Boge2.0 ohm carto and even a carto-tank system which are more and more popular. I prefer the boge cartos as of the last six or so months. They are consistant, fairly tightly packed and robust.
Another possibility would be to order a liquid you like in VG at a higher nic concentration than you would normally use then , using distilled water and a simple syringe for measuring, thin it yourself down to your preferred thickness and strength. Start around 3% and work your way up from there. I found that right around 7% was my sweet spot. I had one liquid that I liked that was THICK ...like cold maple syrup....this method allowed me to run it way back when in my "t" style attys without sacrificing the whole bottle.
Lastly if you feel daring and have a good idea as to what you like you could just make your own liquids for what ever system you decide on. That was my ultimate end of frustration for vendors being out of stock on this, no longer carrying that, and the overall panick of being down to the last few mL of juice and the mailman hasn't brought my package.... Its nice to be able to just make what you like, when you like and to know that there will always be backup liquid available no matter what you feel like vaping today. Hope this all makes sense. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I also had a recent relapse, and was using Ego-T. My problem also was leaking. I ordered Vision Ego Clearomizers, which are super easy to work with and I have had NO leaking problems after about a month. They are about 5 bucks.

You just screw off the tip, squirt your juice in, and screw onto your ego battery. Done! Great flavor and vapor, and easy to clean. Order several though because like all atomizers they do break down eventually (none of mine have yet though) LOVE THEM and and now over a month since I returned to the Wonderful World of Vaping I am free again!

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that the ego T didn't suit you. I've been using it for a day now, and I like it so far. My opinion might change when I become more experience n acquire my style n taste.

I've been smoking analog since I was 9, quitted cold turkey when I was 24-26. Now that I'm turning 32 with a new addition to my family last month, I decide to quit for good.

I have not touch analog since yesterday, and so far I'm doing great with no withdrawl! Considering I used to smoke a pack a day.

I wish you all the best in quitting and some times a little inconvenience might turn out to be a good thing! ;)

There is a very simple way to prevent ego-t atomizers and cartridges from leaking. But it adds some complication to the process of vaping. In an already prefilled cartridge, cut a very little piece of tape (the exact size of the cartridge cap) and paste it on the cap. Then, make a very little hole in that tape to help the atomizer stick get into the cartridge. Put everything together and happy vaping friend!!!

I too started vapeing about a year ago on an ego-t, went back and forth between analogs and ego-t, then about 2 months ago i got the ego-c, havent had an analog since. It is not a perfect system but it did have alot of improvements, MUCH easier to clean, cheaper to replace, and for me didnt leak as much....still small leaks though, got a vision stardust in 2 days ago and have not been able to put it down yet lol, great vape great flavor decent capacity and NO LEAKS :), but alot of things work great for the first week then you find all the problems it has lol. Just my $.02...best of luck quiting, was the best move i have made in a long time :)
