It should be pressed against the cup. 0 lash in mechanical terms, If you will.

You can fluff the wicks by gently hooking them with your tool on each side of the cup and gently pulling up. It isn't quite necessary to do so, but some claim it helps. Just be sure that they aren't out of their slots, above the cup, and that the cup is centered in the tube before replacing the o ring. Be careful not to press too hard on the o ring, or you may pop the air tube and rubber grommet out the bottom. Should you happen to do so, dont panic. Merely remove the tube and gently pull on the stem of the air tube til she pops back in. This is the only way these get destroyed: when the air tube pops out too roughly, the tube comes off in your pocket/holster, or the cup isnt centered and you ram the ring home. Should either of these occur and bend the tube (unlikely) near the batt connection, she will forever leak. Barring that, the only occasional issues are slight gurgling and minor leakage onto batt connector. Trick to this is to unscrew it n blow gently through mouthpiece and refrain from tossing it, not letting a friend suck chrome through it, not letting it reside upside down for long, and don't fill past the joint of the air tube and the black flex sleeve (bout 1/4" from bottom of cup).

Some have converted tanks to run these, but I an currently unsure as to the most efficacious method for so doing. Happy vaping, bud.

Thank you for a very detailed explanation. I will keep that in mind and be careful with my fluxomizer.
I just cleaned the fluxomizer by using your method and I am going to let it dry over night and try the mod tomorrow.
I guess I will have to see if it works better or not. Because when I used it right out of the box, I got some burnt taste and sometimes strong liquid taste (I am sure why but it definitely didn't leak and if it is only me).

I will write on here if it worked for other people who are in the same situation as me.
Thanks again, poetofisis :)

Welcome! I looked at the G6 from Halo for a while, was really close to buying it actually. I ended up going with the 808 from V4L because of the jewel tip LED....LOL! Are you using the manual or automatic battery? I have both from V4L, but I can't really use the auto at all, the draw is really hard, I actually strain my face to get any sort of vapor production! My first ecig was the ProSmoke, which is a really small, very similar to an analog sized ecig, which now that I have more to compare to...I'm really impressed with its battery performance. The main issue is I was filling the little cartridges constantly, as they only hold about 7-10 drops of juice. I like the auto batteries for when I'm out in public. Would love to hear more about your experience with the G6, specifically if you have the automatic. Does the battery register quickly when you inhale, or is it a pretty hard draw?

I'll have to check out the fluxomizer...that's not something I have looked into yet, but sounds great! Thanks for sharing and hope you have fun on the forum. I'm pretty new as well and have learned a TON so far!

Nice to meet you daniele!!!
I am enjoying my time on the forum (I am on for 6 hours straight up so far LOL) and discussing with other people about this fair new technology is also enjoyable.

808 from V4L looks great as well!!! But, I got my G6 based on the comments I read by other people. Also, I chose manual batteries for both (there was an option to choose two same batteries or one each) because I have been reading everywhere people were saying manual batteries are better and all Pro vapors use manual batteries so I just went with that. Sorry I cannot tell you much about auto batteries :(

For my G6 with Fluxomizer attached, I don't have hard time inhaling and my experience so far is great. It just that I should gotten ecig with better battery life. Also, I want to recommend fluxomizers but some people like it and some people don't so I want to but I don't at the same time. I am not sure if that makes sense or not hahah
But there are many Youtube reviews so you should definitely check it out.

For the last thing, I would recommend G6 for beginners just to try see if you like it or not. You don't want to spend a lot of money and decide it is not right for you. Now really the last thing, for anyone getting these types of batteries, I would definitely NOT recommend people to get cartomizers filled with ejuice already. In my opinion, it is much better to get a bottle of ejuice and fill it for yourself.

Daniele, I am sure I will see you around on the forum and thanks!!!

My son and I both use the G6. The battery life seems Ok to me but then I have a bunch of them. The Regular cartos work well but don't hold much. The G6 XL cartos are great and hold almost twice as much liquid and seem to poroduce better flavor and vapor but seem to never be in stock.

I've tried various clearomizers and haven't found any I like as much as the G6 cartos. I think the ohm ratings are critical with the G6 batteries as anything under 2.8 ohms gives off more heat and tastes harsh to me.

To get around the constant dripping of fluid I upgraded to the iGo. It has served me well for the last couple weeks but in my opinion is too hard to carry with me in my pocket though. I hate running out of fluid or filling when it's not necessary.

I am new to vaping and was online looking for safety issues and any other info I could find when I came across this forum. Must say, it's been very informative. I love hearing what others have to say about their experience with the e-cigg, so much success!! I was also relieved to find that I thought due to side affects I would have to give it up but instead just need to switch to all VG vapors and lower my nic level. I would have never figured that out with this forum!!:)

Thank you for another good tip.
I think I will have to make a note of how to use fluxomizers.

No problem. That's what we're her for. FYI, the burning comes from the original bottom ring pinching the wicks and it's good form to place a drop of juice on the coil in the cup when filling for the first time as well letting it sit for a few before vaping...

Sailorman, G6 a brand of electronic cigarette from Halocigs.com. In my personal opinion, the performance and battery life are not good compared to other products so I would not recommend. But I got them because I heard so many good things about the product at that time. Also, it was cheap (I got them when it was on sale) and looks awesome!!! the best design I've seen so far (yes I am a guy but looks matters to me LOL)

Ahhh...I see. I was hoping they had an improved version of the G4 clearomizer. No, I'm definitely not in the market for another PV. Four will have to do me for awhile. Thanks for the info.

BTW, Gotvapes has videos on their site about how to mod the Fluxomizers. There are some on Youtube as well.

Hello there ezmarc,

If you're in the market for a real PV, you might want to check out the kGo, and E-Power. All the *Go PVs are based on the eGo form factor, but some are better than others. There is the eGo, Riva, VGo, kGo, E-Power and probably a few more I'm forgetting. There is also the Firefly by Liberty Flights. I picked up two 900mah Fireflies the other day, even though I have far better and fancier PVs, just because they were on sale for $9. They're pretty cool. They have a ring around the bottom that lights up to indicate how much battery is left. Push the button 4 times fast and it turns into a flashlight with an LED on the bottom. That's come in handy a couple times.

I would recommend the E-Power for your first non-analog PV. The reason is that it alone takes non-proprietary batteries, so it's not disposable like all the others. You can also get parts for it. It's barely larger than a Sharpie Marker and it's relatively inexpensive, especially compared to mini-cigarette or analog-lookalike PV's. You should check it out. If I didn't already have Four PVs (five if you count the extra Firefly), I'd be all over it.

I would love to own another PV with longer battery and better performance. I think it will definitely give a much better vaping experience. But, I am going to play around with my G6 for now and look into the market when these are done.

Like you suggested, I checked out E-Power and it looked cool!!! It seems it can take rechargeable batteries!!! I mean there are so many devices that I don't even know how to keep track of these and pick one that I want LOL

Hello Oldmansam!!
I have heard good things about Stardust as well. However, does it work with KR808 batteries?

Ooh, I believe they're a 510 fitment. I know you can get conversion adapters 808 to 510, but it the 808 battery might look a bit disproportionate. My daily I use it on an ego passthrough and it looks seamless :)

Wow!!! Thank you for sharing on this thread :) Are you talking about
KR808DM-1 ClearoCartos for clearocartos?
And EGO Crystal Cartomizers for Crystal cartomizers? (Does this one work with Halo G6?)

They look very nice. However, can you tell us with more details about if you get any dry hits, or how is TH, vapor production, if it gives you a good taste of ejuice? etc.

Also, do you know anything about http://www.cigeasy.com/product_p/elite clear carts.htm ? they seem pretty much the same but I was wondering if one is newer edition or works better?

Thank you.

I just got some clearocartos from NHaler.com for my G6 batteries. I've only used them for less than a day but so far they work great, fill easy and taste like the G6 carts. I also purchased their Crystal clear cartos for the iGO. Same with them although they are a little pricey. No needles needed for either one.

The clearocartos and crystals taste and hit very similar to the g6 cartos. The crystals are for the bigger iGO units, the clearocartos are slightly wider than the standard 808 cartos and draw just a little harder. The crystals will work on the 808 but are big and partially cover the button on my manual batteries and look odd to boot. I've found the Crystal cartos work best after laying them down rather than keeping them vertical. I've had no failures in a week of use and have found the end of my search for equipment until I start looking at big mods. iGo for home with the crystal cartos and g6's with clearocartos for out and about has me satisfied.

I've never dealt with cigeasy.com but their cartos look very similar to the clearocartos from Nhaler and seem more expensive.

///i just noticed uou used the EGO link for the crystal cartos. You'll want the iGO cartos not the eGO. The igo has a much bigger battery but they will screw onto an 808. Heres the link for the Crystal clear carto that fits and 808 (although much bigger) iGo Crystal Cartomizers

Thank you ezmarc for your response. You just made another reason for me to spend money :p hahahha
I am not sure if you tried Fluxomizers from Gotvapes.com and they work very nice and I am satisfied with them. However, the only thing it bothers me is that it needs some tweaks or some work you need to clean. But, once you get used to everything seems flawless.

Can ClearoCartos be cleaned and reused? Do you have any leaking issues? If it can be cleaned, do you if there is a video that teaches how to clean it? I tried to find some info on ClearoCartos and I couldn't find on Google. Is this fairly new product? Sorry for many questions:oops:

Heres the clearocartos I use. KR808DM-1 ClearoCartos

i've cleaned a couple clearos and crystals. I use vinegar and just soak them in it and then soak in hot water and do a rinse and let them sit for a day or 2 to dry out. I haven't watched any videos about it, just read threads on here. Seems to work for me but truthfully I have like 14-16 pv's going all the time and only one favorite (Tribeca) so I'm not going through them very fast. i think I said earlier that the clearocartos draw harder than the G6 cartos. I still like the ability to see exactly what level I have left though, so I prefer them.

I ordered some stuff from Gotvapes a while back and it seemed like good service and the juices i got from them were pretty tasty but i don't think I've used the fluxomizers. They seem to have a good rep. Neither the Clearocartos or crystal clears leak and i love that the crystals screw on. Never knock the end off that way. I did break the first clearocarto I used trying to get the cap off, they are pretty tight and seal great but haven't had anymore issues since then, by being a little more patient getting them off.
