Expectations from different atomizer resistance?

Noob with questions...

For the last month I've been using a SMOKTech SID with a single bottom coil acrylic tank and the 3 ohm heads that came with it.

I generally run it between 3.8 and 4.5 volts, depending on juice and needs.

If I went to a 1.8 ohm coil, what differences should I expect to see?

Will I want to adjust voltage? (the chart I've reviewed says I should stay between 3-3.8 volts, vs. the 3.5-5 for the 3 ohm)

Are those voltage ranges in alignment with your experiences?

What effects on battery consumption will I see with the 1.8? and juice consumption? Flavor?

So many noob questions, so little time...

lower ohm - normally speaking---more heat, more juice used, more battery used up, can your tank wicks pull juice in fast enough to compensate.
The SID will handle almost anything. you can use 3 volts for 1.8ohm coils and go up from there - whatever satisfies you - 1.8 ohm coils are very popular.
