Just a little intro post. Put my new Vapor King (Kr808D-1 from V4L) through the ropes today. I really enjoy it. Battery life is excellent, throat hit is good (I'm coming off Menthols, so I'm not really accustomed to a rough TH), and the vapor is actually more than when I smoked analogs oddly enough.
There is one question I haven't been able to answer, however. I'm using regular Manual batteries from V4L with the V4L PCC. When I screw in the batteries, the button on the battery is always facing down towards the case. This prevents the battery from resting all the way in the PCC, and I believe the button is getting pressed when the case is closed. The charger won't activate if I unscrew it and reposition the button facing upwards, and I can't "overscrew" the battery to force it to face upwards.
Is this an issue I should be worried about? Does it affect battery life/charging if the button is pressed on a manual battery while it's charging?
Well, on to some "I'm a noob, this was my experience" type statements.
When I first started vaping the PV, the vapor was quite harsh. Most likely because I wasn't accustomed to it (it's fine now 8 hours later), but it grew on me. Reminds me of when I first started smoking analogs actually, haha. Right off the bat I notice that I'm not getting the "asthma" feeling after vaping for extended periods of time. My airways stay clear and breathing is easy.
I may be slightly biased on this next statement because I did quite a lot of research here on the forums about models, liquids, health, operation, and law regarding e-cigs, but I found it very easy to use. Even a manual which people say feels uncomfortable, I find to be very natural-feeling. Just goes to show you not everyone enjoys the same qualities in regards to e-cigs.
I won't go into excruciatingly boring detail about my experience, but suffice it to say that I'm very happy with this change. I actually quit analogs 4 days before my PV arrived, but I still haven't touched an analog and really don't have the urge to do so anymore.
