Good afternoon folks.
Minimum post counts are like anti theft tags on clothing. If everyone would behave they wouldn't be necessary, and I hate them
Anyway, I vaped for about 18 months on KR8081-Ds and pass-throughs but got frustrated with failing auto switches and and went back to Marlboro Milds. I started vaping again and what follows is my timeline of device trials. I hope it helps someone decide what to buy first.
-The GoGo: Great battery life, poor reliability. I have 3 bad batteries on a shelf. I chose not to return them and try something else because I appreciate what the vendors do and recovering $13 a battery isn't going to affect my bank account significantly. I used this platform with and without a tank system. It performed very well and batteries lasted me nearly a full day.
-Boge Revolution V2: My first foray into a box mod. I liked the idea of all day vaping without topping off. Unfortunately it leaked and ruined the electronics. I did not like the thought of being unable to replace the battery so I moved on. I may still return this and give it to a family member to get them off analogs.
-Vapage VMod 2.0: This is the smaller one that holds 3ml in the bottle. The system works great but I highly recommend a spare set of bottles to get a bottle seal and a spare "seal kit". The kit includes 2 large o-rings that are necessary no matter which atty or carto you use. The small seals are for using cartos and attys from other vendors (they go just above the threads).
I find it seals very well and the 14500 batteries work great from Vapage. They advertise 900mah and I can't dispute that though it seems high for a 14500. This is what I carry in the car for long trips because I don't top off and drive.
-Innovapor Alpha Ultra: I ordered this with the intent of staying on one battery platform (14500 because I am so satisfied) and wanted something smaller for my Air Force ABU shirt pen pocket. Unfortunately it doesn't fit. I imagine the mini would fit fine. By contrast, the GoGo did barely fit in the pen pockets and is advertised at 1300mah. I don't want to run multiple battery platforms so I will stick with the Ultra.
See you on the boards,
-Chris
