Good afternoon folks.

Minimum post counts are like anti theft tags on clothing. If everyone would behave they wouldn't be necessary, and I hate them :)

Anyway, I vaped for about 18 months on KR8081-Ds and pass-throughs but got frustrated with failing auto switches and and went back to Marlboro Milds. I started vaping again and what follows is my timeline of device trials. I hope it helps someone decide what to buy first.

-The GoGo: Great battery life, poor reliability. I have 3 bad batteries on a shelf. I chose not to return them and try something else because I appreciate what the vendors do and recovering $13 a battery isn't going to affect my bank account significantly. I used this platform with and without a tank system. It performed very well and batteries lasted me nearly a full day.

-Boge Revolution V2: My first foray into a box mod. I liked the idea of all day vaping without topping off. Unfortunately it leaked and ruined the electronics. I did not like the thought of being unable to replace the battery so I moved on. I may still return this and give it to a family member to get them off analogs.

-Vapage VMod 2.0: This is the smaller one that holds 3ml in the bottle. The system works great but I highly recommend a spare set of bottles to get a bottle seal and a spare "seal kit". The kit includes 2 large o-rings that are necessary no matter which atty or carto you use. The small seals are for using cartos and attys from other vendors (they go just above the threads).

I find it seals very well and the 14500 batteries work great from Vapage. They advertise 900mah and I can't dispute that though it seems high for a 14500. This is what I carry in the car for long trips because I don't top off and drive.

-Innovapor Alpha Ultra: I ordered this with the intent of staying on one battery platform (14500 because I am so satisfied) and wanted something smaller for my Air Force ABU shirt pen pocket. Unfortunately it doesn't fit. I imagine the mini would fit fine. By contrast, the GoGo did barely fit in the pen pockets and is advertised at 1300mah. I don't want to run multiple battery platforms so I will stick with the Ultra.

See you on the boards,
-Chris

I started with a kit that looks like a regular analog. Still using it. Buy cartomizers and fill them. I use tobacco flavors that I like. I like a mild flavor and mostwho carry a Winston option hit that spot. I use a mild Marlboro as well. Bought the vanilla and find I don't like it. Anyone with a good mild vanilla? Let me know. I bought an ego tank system to taste the flavors but find I still use my Winston mild juice in it as well. I switch off because the Ego tank gives you such a straight hit that my 16mg. is almost too strong. Have to be careful. Cartomizers lose the nicotine effect behind being stored in the cotton and it is hard to refill without the cartridge getting burnt up - hence the Ego Tank. The atomizers run hot and it takes some getting used to. Anyone know a good Winston vendor? That's basically all I like. I am pretty lost with juice vendorsw as I am new to the forum. Thanks.

PinkSpot Vapors! I cannot get enough of theirs. They produce huge amounts of vapor and the flavors are created by a couple Sandi and Penn who are licensed mixologist from Las Vegas. So they have some awesome mixtures. One of my vapes that I have to have with my morning coffee is their vanilla bean. It threw me off at first bc I thought it would be sweeter, but now I love the fact that it is not! I mix about 2/4 Candy Cane (awesome menthol with a hint of sweetness) and 2/4 Vanilla Bean. Most of the time it's my all day vape! Pinkspot vapors was so good that anything I have tried since then is null and void. Plus, the shipping is so fast! I live in Memphis, TN and I usually get my vapes within 2-3 days after I order it and on the receipt is a handwritten note from Sandi. They always include a free gift vape too. I've requested the flavor of my freebie before and she did it with no problem!
I have a KR808 and fill my cartos. I'm honestly ready to switch to the Ego

I must have tried at least 30 e-liquids and still have yet to find one more consistently excellent than Dave's Special Blend.

It's from vaping101 and is what the guy mixes for himself after being a 2PAD smoker for over 30 years. Unfortunately he is out of stock on the tobacco flavor that goes into the blend and I am having flavor withdrawal :(

Using 18mg watermelon from Vapage (very nice in atty) and Pina Colada mixed with tobacco from vaping101. I believe he uses a 50/50 blend.
