Expired e-liquid?

So in 2010 I bought a ton of e-cig stuff, used it a while, then fell off the wagon during our move. Since then I have used my e-cig only occasionally (and still managed to lose 3 batteries) when traveling, while at the hospital watching my Godson pass away, when sick, etc.

Now I am ready to use my stuff again, but I have a bunch of expired e-liquid, I think it all expired in November. I'm not sure what to do. Tossing it sounds really expensive but obviously I don't want to make myself sick. Any feedback?

It won't make you sick. The nicotine has been degrading since it was first produced, so the amount you get while vaping will be much lower and may not satisfy your cravings though.

I doubt it would make you sick and if it was stored right it could still be good..expiration dates are approximated usually..if it smells ok then I'm sure it's ok..make sure to shake it well because I'm sure it's separated...

It's not separated at all, it looks and smells fine. It's been stored in a hard case, in a dark place, and in a temp controlled environment (my house) the entire time. So I guess maybe not as much nic but that is OK considering I am just trying to train myself right now. Thanks!

Actually I didnt even know that a juice has an expiration date.

MadVapes says 2 years from when you get it from them (bottles are dated the date they process them).

Vermont Vapor says 6 months and to always refrigerate.
