I just discovered I pulled out a bottle of juice that has a use by date of 1/29/11. It produces nice vapor, has decent TH, and tastes good. So what actually happens with expired juice? Does the nicotine level drop? Should I through it away?

That is only 3 months old. Some vendors put an expirations date of around 2 years on their juice bottles. I'd say you are just fine. Some of my BackwoodBrew juice I let "steep" for 2-3 months before I even start to use it. But that's only cuz I already have a nice supply of available juice to use while I let my new orders steep awhile.

Good luck. :thumb:

I cant agree with Years, pg has a shelf life of 2yrs VG 1.5, its the additives to the Nic juice that go bad more so than the Nic itself, "YEARS" no way I mean cmon years, I just cant and wouldn't vape juice that is years old, I have purchased and stored lots of juice in my vaping time and now I don't even want juice that's more then 7-8 months old anymore and much rather would be vaping fresh juice then stuff that is years old, besides when juice does go bad believe me you will know it, been there done that,, it has one foul taste to it once it turns ! just my opinion of course guys but I have had some juice that has turned in as little as 8 months and others that has turned in a year, and then have had some that lasted almost 2 but I wouldn't vape it at that point. Even if you buy 100mg Nic juice max shelf life is 2 yrs posted on the bottle.

I don't see anywhere in my post where I said it's ok to vape juice that is 2 years old, or 1 year old even. You do?
If you think 3 months is too long, then that tells me a lot too.
I'm lucky to have juice last 30 days before it's gone.

Agreed, I read where FSUSA is going to sell premium juice that is aged at least 6 mo or more. If it tastes good, I say vape it

I still have juice from august of last year...damn it's good. I also have 100mg in deep freeze storage that according to the chem people on ECF will last longer than 2 years. If it's good, vape it. If it tastes nasty, chuck it.
