I have 3 Expromizers, one authentic, one from HEK Vapor with glass tank, and one unknown manufacturer which I believe is the same as the one FT sells. The Hek is not quite as well machined as the other two, though I bought it for the Quartz tank, the authentic, and the other are very close in quality, It would be difficult to tell clone from the authentic.

The Hek also had some issues with the spring, and unstable resistance, replacing the cheap spring with a self-made copper cured it. I bought the authentic second hand for $30 from a BIN on Ebay mostly because it came with a few accessories. All three of them are fully interchangeable parts wise.

I have an authentic v1.1 and a clone couldn't be much worse. The threading is horrendous in the chimney sections. So rough, that it snags the cotton as you thread the chimney to the base. Mine also developed a terrible voltage drop which I was unable to correct. I'd estimate the base added as much as 0.3-0.4Ω resistance to any build. Replacing the spring with an authentic replacement and disassembling and cleaning the base had no effect. I even tried a different positive pin with no effect. Seeing as ExVape doesn't offer repair parts for the deck, I gave up.

.....and so it sits. To bad really, as I did enjoy it otherwise, except for it's tight draw, comparable most closely to an unmodified Kayfun light. The flavor on it was exceptional.

That does suck :( I have a 1.2, which came from a friend who has 6. We are both happy with them. Here I was going to suggest to the OP that an authentic spring might be enough to fix a clone if it wasn't stable.

My threading is neither great nor terrible. Everything goes together without much effort on my part. I have a couple RTAs that cost twice as much that have much worse threading.

It does have great flavor, and the largest airhole is exactly right for me.

They have a couple glass tank optional accessories now. I have the square window one.
