So I finally got my Expromizer in the mail. It should have arrived on Thursday, however it seems that it was stuck at a USPS sorting facility for a couple of extra days for no reason at all. What was 2 day Priority mail became 5. Gotta love USPS. This was to be a Father's Day gift for hubby, and I had to come up with something else at the last minute. It's actually a good thing that I did. I'm not sure hubby would be please with this device.

I must say, I'm a little disappointed in the overall quality of the tank. It isn't what I expected from a genuine RTA. Aside from my Tobeco Kayfun Lite, the threading on this is worse then all of my Kayfun clones. Perhaps it'll feel better after a good cleaning once I'm home. I'm at work right now. Also, without a build or a cleaning, the draw feels very tight on the largest airhole option. Perhaps there's grime blocking something. It's arrived pretty grungy. Also, the top cap has quite a few scratches. I would contact the vendor about the scratches, but from what I've been reading, this seems to be a common issue with it?

On the plus side, the spring loaded 510 connection seems to be functional, although the spring feels flimsy. According to the vendor, these should be the new, updated, connections. We shall see. Seems a bit odd to have such a tiny, easy to loose piece, and not have a spare included. Oh, and every time I unscrew the tank from the base, the top part of the chimney gets unscrewed and stuck to the top cap. I need to take the tank apart to get it off. This kinda eliminates the idea of not needing to dump your juice to get to the coil. I'll need to to get that piece off.

So far, I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed in my first, genuine, topper. Unless this thing cleans up VERY well and vapes better then my clones, I'm going to call this one a loss. Looks okay on top of a Provari however, with the beauty ring. I'll have more thoughts on it once I clean it up and build the coil.

Sorry to hear this, hope you can get it working. The other thread stated that the machining wasn't very good on it.

Yeah, that's what I read. It's also missing the little screwdriver. Not that I need it. I have plenty from every other tank I get. Still, it's something that's missing, and I'm wondering if this particular box was opened up and fiddled with, resulting in the scratches.

Okay, now I'm getting a bit worried. A) It seems that there IS a clone out there for it. At least, alibaba had something. B) It came in a brown box, rather then the white box with a green x. Anyone buy an Expromizer recently? With the updated springs? What box did it come in? Also, has anyone bought anything from Vapinart.com before, and are they selling legit things?

Okay. Nevermind. Vapinart is one of three USA dealers mentioned on the eXvape site. So, it's the real deal. New box I guess? Still, I'm bummed. For a genuine, it doesn't feel as good as an Ehpro or Hcigar kayfun. Sits flush on the Provari with the Provape beauty ring. Hopfully after I clean it up, it'll be okay.

I know what you mean, I received an authentic Kayfun to today. No box, just put in bubble wrap, but I did get a small screwdriver. Sorry I can't help you mine won't be here for quite a while. The site I bought it from did have parts I believe in case you break or lose something. Let's hope it works well as it is pricey if it's a piece of junk.

It works fabulously. Really surprising considering the threading and overall build quality. Even made my husbands coffee juice taste decent. Smooth vape with big clouds with air control set to the largest hole. I'm now willing to overlook the scratches, the choppy threading, ect... We'll see how it holds up to my husbands use. I did wind up giving it to him, although I'm kinda regretting it, considering how nicely it vaped. Flavor was great with a 2 ohm microcoil and cotton wicking. Really good. And I hated that juice to boot. I can only imagine how good it would be with a juice I loved in it.

Getting the wicking just right seems to be less of an issue. I packed in more because I heard it sometimes wicked a little too well with those deeper juice channels. Seems I got it right. No complaints from my husband, and if it goes wrong, believe me I'll hear it. We will see if he can manage to refill it on his own. Told him it was much like a Protank. Remove the tank, fill to the top of the airflow tube, screw base back in. The problem comes where the top of the chimney gets unscrewed with the tank. If that happens, I'm not sure he'll manage. I may need to put a very small dab of Vaseline there.

That's great news as I ordered two of them and was thinking I might have made mistake.

It feels like a mistake when you first open it for sure. It needs a really good cleaning. Even after the cleaning, the threads are kind of choppy, and flakes come off the threading on the plastic piece. However, the overall design works great for vaping. Getting great tasting vapor with 50/50 liquid. Surprising clouds with only 50% VG too.

I'm also waiting for a Expromizer, which is on it's way...

from the positive feedback everyone has had on it's vapping quality, and ease of use, I can't wait!

Too bad quality control isn't better, but from what I hear, once you've used it for a few days, threads get worked in and aren't a problem.

Thanks for the review!

Your experience mirrors my own. Threads are rough, the steel is not quite the same quality as my ehpro kfl+, and it has a few quirks. I've had mine for about 4 days, and I've found the little interior dome top comes off when you remove the tank to fill (no biggie, but you do have to pry it off to fill, which is irritating - makes a little bit of a mess sometimes). I suspect a slightly larger o ring could solve that, but I haven't gotten around to trying it. The box it comes in is junky, and mine was missing the screwdriver. The spares kit needs to have a spring, as it is just a matter of time before the 1 for the 510 connector pin goes flying off into the ether; The bottom section often comes unscrewed when I try to remove the whole thing from the mod, which exposes the said spring unintentionally. Plus the section at the bottom of the tank that houses the spring and airflow controller seems to collect juice, and needs a frequent cleaning.

So, all those quirks aside, it vapes great! It easily beats my taifun gt and my kfl+ in terms of vapor production and flavor. It is quiet, the vape is just the right temp for me, the airflow controller really works and the build deck is quite forgiving. It is easy to wick, and my cotton wicks don't seem to get burned under the coil like my other toppers do. It's lighter than the other two, which makes my box mods not quite as top heavy, and holds a good amount of juice. Overall, it's my favorite kayfun style tank. Now if they just address the above quirks, I think we have a real winner on our hands here!

I agree that there are a bunch of shortcomings to the device. I like to use a very thick wick. Way more than i would use in a Kayfun or a Russian. Seems to minimize flooding and leaking. Now that i have figured it lit its mu favorite RBA. Flavor and vapor better than any non-dripper i own.

Any word on them making a nano kit for it? I'm done with huge tanks like a full-size Kayfun 3.1 or Taifun GT on my mech's. They're just too unwieldy for pocket carry (which is why everything I own has a nano/short tank setup on it).

Unfortunately, I've only seen extension kits so far. Also, it's 23mm, rather then the usual 22. It looks great on a Provari with a beauty ring, as the Provari's diameter is slightly over 22mm, but I don't think there are many mods out there at that diameter.

I ordered one. There seems to be batches of them that are better than others. A friday afternoon product so to speak. I seen others review it and the threads were really good. I like the idea that it's a bit larger. I wish it was also made in germany as I got my kfl+v2 and I often find myself threading it over and over just to hear the beautiful sound they make lol.. Anyway I ordered mine from a place called eliquidbar.com in greece. I got an extra spring and an extra ss tank. I didn't get the extension as I don't really think that will be necessary. Hopefully mine was made on tuesday lol. Cannot wait for it to get here to put it up against my legit kayfun to see if it really lives up to the name of the kayfun killer..
