For ALL of my liquids that I've ever ordered, they arrive in my mailbox too hot to touch. I would say the shipping temperatures in an enclosed truck can get up to 150 dg or more on a hot day. I'm wondering if this decreases the life span of juices, and how it may effect taste and how it affects the nicotine. Has anyone done any tests with this kind of situation? I know that nearly all of the juice vendors I've ordered from suggest to always keep juices at a cool temperature in the dark. So, it can't be good to expose the juices to +100 dg temperatures for days at a time while in transit to us, right?

Literally burn-your-hand hot??! I have never received anything that was like THAT, even when it's 90-100 degrees out! I wonder if it's your mailbox? Mine is a big plastic one (from Home Depot). Is your box metal?

On two occasions (that I am aware of) I have shipped menthol crystals to a customers which melted due to the heat.

Yes I have a metal box. Not sure what kind of metal but it's definitely some kind of metal. Not burn my hand hot but it's definitely uncomfortable to hold in my hand longer than 5 seconds. The kind of "hot" that is like when you step into a hot bath your body has to get used to the hot temperature before that scalding feeling goes away. And yes I have recieved melted menthol crystals as well. Good thing they re-crystalize (kinda)

I've gotten bottles that were really warm, but nothing that was uncomfortable to handle for any period of time. Regardless, what difference does it make? I mean, what could you do about it anyway beyond trying to get suppliers to ship with ice pack or something ?

You could ask for upgraded shipping.

But no, I haven't had that problem, even here in west TX where the actual temperature reaches over 105 frequently during the summer - heaven online knows how hot the ambient temp. gets in the mail trucks.

I have got very hot packages also - which I had attributed to my own black mailbox. But, yesterday at 4pm my doorbell rang and this nice post-woman handed me a 12x14x3 flat rate box from Arctic Vapors out of Alaska. In the mist of what seemed like a ton of styrofoam popcorn was one bubble-wrapped 120mg dark blue bottle of 100mg/ml nic juice. It was much too hot to hold and I nearly dropped it on the floor from sheer instinct.

So, no, there is not much we can do about it. I am sure being in the back of a delivery truck all day is like an oven on hot days, Even if we picked things up at post office we can't control whatever truck delivered to post office.
