I had a right eye twitch about one month into vaping. I also recieved new juice the same day. Some 36 to cut and a "mint" 18 mg sampler. I was probably over-sampling but it could have been nicotine or flavoring, or over-vaping... I suspected nicotine, but have suspected flavorings for some other issues.

I have had blood tests done twice since I started vaping in April. Doc said all my labs were excellant. I have copies of the labs and can't find a blood PH in them, just urine.
Calcium was within range though. Is there anything else that might help?

yes I dont think blood ph is part of the normal list of tests, your Magnesium level how was that? I have done some further reading and I think potassium is the main problem, so add some bananas to your diet and that should help alot also.

I have been smoking the 0 nic carts for a while and the twitch got worse because i smoked more so mor PG.

Anyways I had a banana and some mg++ and my twitch is gone today.

some more success stories?

a Ca++ / Mg++ supplement ? What is this ? I have the eye thing and use to get it from too much coffee too. Old timers call it the "pepsi eye" from caffeine. I get it from vaping too but has always been an indicator that I have reached my coffee limit but with vaping I get it in the first hour in the morning on the way to work before the coffee.
I'm wondering about the supplements.

I came across your post while searching for possible causes for this eye twitch in my lower left eyelid. I am not using the e-cigarette but I am using the nicotine patches. The twitch started about a week after I started the patch and has lasted for three weeks. I've been very concerned about what may be causing it....nicotine withdrawal symptom, side effect of the patch, or maybe an illness, disease, etc. After reading these posts it sounds like nicotine replacement in any form may be the cause. I still have three more weeks on the patch and will see what happens when I'm totally nicotine free. So glad I found this info.....feeling much better about this annoying twitch!

My eye is twitching from reading this forum... ;-)

In all seriousness, that is in fact part of the problem. I, too, have had eyelid twitching, known as blepharospasm, for years. In my experience and conversations with my opthalmologist (I have had cataract surgery - lens implants - in both eyes) this can be caused by a number of, and combination thereof, factors:

Fatigue
Eye strain (such as reading this forum for HOURS on end...)
Excess caffeine
Stress
Dehydration

The dehydration came up more recently - as a result of my new bionic eyes I'm more prone to dry eyes, so keep plenty of eye drops around. That definitely helps with the twitching.

My last episode was yesterday morning. I had had four hours of sleep the night before and spent the other 20 hours on the computer, fueled by excess amounts of coffee (which of course will also dehydrate ya). Hmmm... fatigue, eye strain, caffeine, dehydration, and of course I'm always stressed. You had to know it was coming!

Solution for me has always been: add eye drops (drink water!), take a break from the computer, or go to bed.
