Not to go off topic but...

Lashes, you like, seriously need to calm down. You are totally way overusing quotation marks out of needless agitation.
But hey, from what I've read, it all IS in our heads. Or the receptors in our brains, more specifically.

And, OK, seriously, you are right. I've decided that my tongue twitching is psychosomatic.

Really.

Really really really. Really.

Happy vaping! :p <-- see? can you see?

I wasnt saying your tongue isnt twitching. If it is, cool or not cool, however you look at it.

Not sure what you were going for with your calm down, crazy quote man remarks. I was using them to separate out the points that have been brought up separately at different times on this forum. I suppose the ones around "from nicotine" could have been left out but sheesh! I dont think using them a few times in a post constitutes going quote crazy.

Sorry you don't understand what you have not experienced Lashes.

As I know it we are all unique, but some of us may have similar experiences. If anyone is having side affects they think are related to vaping they should be able to put it out here for feedback. I think you may have shut down a few folks from commenting here.

Whoa whoa whoa. I actually am taking offense to your post. You think I shut down people from replying to this thread? On what grounds? I wasn't being an ......., not even to the slightest degree. I'm not sure why you are making me out to be one but its sure making me want to be one right now....

*takes a few deep breaths*

Ok.

Anyway, I was just talking about how a lot of the actual scientific evidence posted here points to 'we get less nicotine than we did with analogs, even with 36mg juice, by far'. Again never said that was fact, just said thats what a lot of evidence seems to suggest and I happen to agree with it.

I was posting my opinion on the nicotine matter. Not trying to be a **** or put anyone off as you put it.

Has anyone actually had any tests done to test for their nicotine levels? I asked my doctor to test for nicotine while they were performing my last "bloodtest" He told me nicotine is not tested in the blood but with a urine test. I'm no doctor but I did not pay the extra cost attached to getting that test. I am however curious as I too believe I am getting far less nicotine ingestion from vaping. I vape 100 time more than I smoked and I can honestly say I have NEVER felt like I got too much nicotine. I have had some of the side affects mention here like, dry skin, occasional sneezing, the sore muscles, etc. But nothing that has scared me YET....
Maybe someone here much smarter than I can tell us how nicotine levels are really tested for. I know insurance companies do urine tests for life insurance I believe for detecting nicotine to find the smokers who may be trying to hide it. JMHO

Hey, Lashes, I was just kidding around, being silly. My apologies. I started out asking a question seriously, but then this thread just went wild and became very funny to me, so I was going with that and enjoying it, and playing off of everyone's comments. I do appreciate your viewpoint and input. I have seen the posts and information you mentioned already about low nicotine levels in vapers.
My serious opinion is that such findings are a good starting point, but they need to be replicated in independent controlled studies, and a good deal more research needs to be done.
And, I'm sure it will be, but it will be years before enough evidence accumulates to allow anyone to do more than provide an informed opinion.
From a subjective standpoint, I've only been vaping for 3-4 months, but if in all this time all that has happened is that I wonder if maybe my tongue is twitching a little occasionally, that is totally cool with me.
And I really do think it's twitching. And I find it more funny than anything else.
