Is there an area on the forum dedicated to Flavour Art flavors? If not, seems like there should be.
I have been enjoying my FA flavors! I like that they're so concentrated - a bottle lasts a very long time, and so do my atomizers. I have gotten about 20 of their flavors, most from rtsvapes.
Dark Vapure is the only one I can't stand. I got it as an ingredient to try duplicating Halo's Belgian Cocoa (don't get all excited - it literally stunk!) I'm not a fan of
tobacco flavors, and I found this one purely nauseating. But their cocoa, chocolate, and fresh cream flavors are making vapable chocolate flavors for me; I like it as well as I like Halo's.
My favorite single FA flavors are Tiramisu and Hazelnut. Tiramisu is an excellent coffee
dessert flavor. It's great as a single flavor, though not very sweet, so I add sweetener. It's also good with cocoa added, or Irish Cream, or Black Cherry. It can be used as a strong base in coffee-themed recipes. Hazelnut is a perfect nut flavor, strong and true. I never thought I'd like plain nut flavor, but it's excellent all by itself. I also use it with chocolate and in coffee and
dessert flavors. My current coffee mixes start with FA's Coffee Espresso, which is like a sweetened espresso, good flavor.
Best mixers in my opinion are "Cream, Fresh" and "Vanilla Bourbon". I tried The Flavor Apprentice creams, but the exhale taste on those has a nasty note. I find that same 'note' in many vendor liquids and can ID them instantly if they use TFA creams. FlavourArt's tastes truly "fresh" to me, no weird aftertastes, and it's a great mixer. Vanilla Bourbon is another I use constantly, whenever Vanillin doesn't go in instead for the extra sweetness or Capella's for the heavy flavor.
Best exotic flavor of the moment is Torrone. It tastes exactly like the candy. I think I might try it as "nougat" in a chocolate candy bar recipe. The flavor is almond, honey, lemon, and...meringue? I think. I liked it better with some cherry flavor, but that's my American sweet tooth coming through.
Best FA mix I made lately is 3% Cola, 2% Black Cherry, a very cherry Coke. How weird that it actually tastes carbonated. That must be a trick of the mind. This one has good flavor and the liquid is totally clear. My cartomizer just gets refilled, over and over, no cleaning required. Total flavor only 5%; I use most Capella's at 20%, most others at 15%, to give you an idea of the strength of FA flavors.
Any FA fans here with favorites to share? Is there a recipe area? I've searched, but I haven't found...
