Went to my Dr. appt. today and I could tell immediately the nurse was a smoker - so I very proudly told her I quit tobacco - she asked me how and I pulled out an extra Joye 510 gave her a demo and let her try it. She is ordering one tonite! Then my Doc was thrilled - had no problem with my PV and asked if I could bring her some info for her to show some other patients who desperatly needed to quit for their health but just couldn't - she wants to recommend. She is from India and said they way they use tobacco (no additives - with a hooka) caused no significant health problems. She had no problem with me using nicotine - just the tobacco! They instantly put in my chart non-smoker! Whoo hoo!:D

Congratulations and that is such great and positive news. That is what we need to see more of, people posting about their visits to their doctors, etc. so that newbies like me can assure themselves that this is safe and that the FDA is just blowing smoke, get it, sorry I know I am korny.

I even spoke with the American Lung Association and although they couldn't recommend, endorse, etc. due to the FDA, I finally wore her down and she said it is better than not smoking and whatever keeps me away from cigs.

Take care and happy vaping to all..

I'm so glad to hear someone else who has done this!!! I think it is vitally important especially with the FDA threats and the AMA threats that we all tell our doctors and other medical professionals about this amazing device!!!
The AMA is but a drop in the bucket.

Just check out the alphabet soup that opposes these devices for no valid reason.
You can find most of them listed in the petition linked in my signature below.

And while you're checking that out, make sure to sign!!
