I'm amazed that I found something to make me willing to quit smoking "real" cigarettes. I LOVE smoking, and, although I know there are many adverse affects to smoking, I have had no serious desire to quit. Now that I have found the e-cig, I'm very happy and excited that I can drop the "real" ones and not lose much of what I love about them. Is it related to having an addictive personality? Probably. This product is an absolute gift! I can drop much of the bad stuff, but keep my addiction going. Is it ideal? Maybe not...I guess in a perfect world, no one would be addicted to anything, particularly anything bad. I happen to live in the real world, so finding this product is so freaking awesome! Too bad they don't have an equivalent for "other" addictions.

I got my e-cig late in the afternoon on Friday, 8/14/09, and I've only had 4 REAL cigarettes since (1 Friday night, 2 Saturday night, and 1 Sunday night). I would have normally smoked 5 "real" packs over an average weekend.

This is so awesome. I can already feel slight changes, physically. My wife is very happy, as I don't smell like an ashtray (and she always has worried about the negative health effects of smoking). I hope the coming week will continue what I feel has been a very positive start. I don't think I've gone a weekend in over 20 years where I smoked 4 cigarettes or less.....not even close, not even when I was a "part time" smoker.
