Fair comment. I think you may have misunderstood some of what I said though. And silly - you could well be right! I have rambled an awful lot in this thread as I've had no sleep due to a poorly elderly doggy so you could easily be forgiven for misinterpreting a few of my poorly made points. I did say that more talented people than me have struggled so I may well just luck out if it does go right. Sometimes it's about timing or luck. I also thought I made it clear that this is something I believe in and would like to see if some of the knowledge and skills I have can be put to good use. You are absolutely right when you say my group may end up offering nothing new and there are hundreds of viable alternatives around already. If I succeed in some way then we all gain. If I fall flat on my face which is as you rightly imagine is much more likely then I won't have done any harm as I won't have made any difference at all. I said before that I will try to help anyone else in any small way I can but there are better people than me already doing those tasks. Some central place where people who are active on the important stuff can meet other passionate people who maybe don't know how to get involved might just make their individual causes a bit stronger. And as I also said if it is a good idea and there's someone better qualified then if they can take the reigns and make it a success where I couldn't then I've still done a good thing. I really do however respect your opinion as it seems to come from a place of caring for the subject matter.

The interesting thing about vaping is the sense of community. Since swapping to vaping 2 years ago I have found it has not only allowed me to stop smoking but has been a constant topic of interest in the 'smokers spot' at work or when out and about. Suddenly I am swapping tips and discussing flavours with total strangers. I think the Facebook/twitter/forum debate is simple, different people will prefer different mediums to share and communicate. If you give people a place to interact about the important issues and promote awareness, or even share experiences, then it's a good thing.

Totally agree with you! I think there are a lot of people on Facebook who don't know or understand these changes that are happening and maybe feel can't effect what's happening. It would be great if they could come together with us... Thanks.

Is not the subject matter though as the group is still thriving even in my absence and the other admins are fine. No conspiracies (sadly). My pretty new Facebook account would have had massive new activity (probably a few friend requests too many ) and is temporarily blocked. I failed to navigate the picture navigation verification today so will try tomorrow!!! I'll be back! Very capable people looking after it...

People get flagged by the Bots and put in FB jail for too many postings in a certain amount of time and many times it has nothing to do with the content. But since you said it is a new account and a lot of activity they could consider it spam even if it isn't.

That's weird. I just tested it and it popped straight up from the link. If you search A Billion Vapers (18+) it should come up!

I wish I could post what I see from your link and I see it does say Public Group but only join and comments from people. No header and graphics just comments

You need to click join when logged into Facebook. You can always unjoin if you don't want to stay.
