Facial Hair

Hubby and I were talking about how once upon a time it was considered handsome and a sign of masculinity. However, as a whole it's fallen out of favor.
I must admit I never found men with facial hair attractive til I fell for hubby (and thusly his beard...I mean a big ole beard). Now I find men with beards much more attractive.
What are your thoughts?

i don't like men with beards. i don't like women with beards. llama's with beards don't bother me none too much. i once thought i saw a turtle with a beard, but it was really groucho marx without a beard drinking a margarita.

I don't care for beards but I do like moustaches. Sometimes beards get kind of nasty looking.

I've had a moustache since I could grow one. Had really long hair and a beard till I was 25 or so. Lost the scruffy beard and long hair but kept the stache. I only shaved it off about 4 times in my life. Twice due to lighter fires, once cuz I made a wrong turn with my new trimmer and looked like a wanna be Hitler and once because I wanted to see my upper lip for awhile. My kids told me to grow it back cuz I looked funny. Don't miss my scruffy beard though.

I personally can't stand it if I don't get to shave for whatever reason. And, I have to agree with Ejoker that facial hair isn't very attractive on women either.. lol

I don't get the new trend of the weird, super trimmed, thin line beards and moustaches that a lot of the younger guys have either.. Maybe I'm just getting old but it looks pretty funny to me. Especially with most of those people walking around like their bow-legged so their jeans don't fall off.. lol

I dont remember where exactly I saw it, but there was a study about 20yrs back.

What they found is that women genetically like hairy men.

Bad news for me as Im pretty hairy, and it drives ME nuts, lol.

Cant wait for above 60deg, temps to shave my head and face and wear shorts again...

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Right now I do ... comes and goes frequently.
It amuses me when I'm asked whether I'm "growing a beard", as if doing so is an activity. Seems to me, not having a beard is the activity.

But, my facial hair is no longer a youthful brown color. So, more often than not I am clean shaven. I look a lot older with it ... not a desirable thing at my age.

I've got long hair and a van .......I keep it trimed...occasionaly I have to be clean shaven for some job sites....but even when I want to cut my hair and be clean shaven the fiance is dead set against it...though she puts up less of a fight when the work site says I have to shave
