Ok, fair warning to everyone that's posted positives about the e-power kit and the duel coil cartos (you know who you are). I just placed an order with hoosierecigsupply.com The thing is, I'm on ss and money is pretty tight for me, so if this don't work out, I may just have to find out where you live and move in for awhile. Eat your groceries and wear out your couch for awhile. ( also, I get the remote). So put that in your ..ah pv and ..ah vape it.  :vapor:

Thanks for the invites folks, I know we're joking here but it's the thought that counts right. :)

Anyways, day five update has some bad news. One atty just failed. On day one I tried both attys to make sure they worked. They both measured 2.5 ohm on my meter and I could tell they contained primer, so I cleaned them, dripped a few drops and they performed great. Then I went to one of the duel coils to test it and vaped most of the day. On day two I went back to one atty and I've been using it for dripping and with carts, up until it failed. I checked it with my meter and it's showing 27.7 ohms. I've never heard of an atty going to high resistance but this one has. I'm used to my Joye attys lasting for months, not days, so I guess I've gotten spoiled.

I'm still very happy with the e-power. I hear they're working on a vv switch for this thing and that would be great, although I'll have to say 3.7v is plenty for me. :vapor:

i have been using my epower now for almost two weeks and i love it. this was my first pv upgrade. the atomizers are still going strong...been rotating the two i got with the epower maybe a couple of times a day. i ordered the dual coils from hoosier. having so so luck with them on the epower. they seem real finicky as far as working. one time i put the on it works...next time...nada. and then put it one again later and it works lol have no idea why unless its something to do with the power coming from the batteries??? i know this is a regulated pv so i dont know if that has something to do with it?? but as far as the epower...i love the battery life and i love dripping on the atomizers. i am probably goign to pick up so LR atomizers to see how i like that...and then just need to pick up a passthrough so i can save those batteries for a long time =) glad to see you are liking yours! i too am looking forward to the variable voltage (vv) switch! May your vaping be long lasting!

Glad you're having good luck with it. Atties are the one part that you can expect to possibly fail early. Having the cartos around for backups is a good idea.

I'm happy to find another carto I can use. I have some of the ce2s and I like them but I wind up using them mostly for dripping. When I fill one up to use as a carto, I often have wicking problems and I'd just as soon be using carts. With the duel coils, there's no burning, vapor production is great and tastes almost as good as dripping. If you haven't seen this video, slide the slider out to about 14:30 and watch. Then you can go back and watch some other parts if you want to. YouTube - A PBusardo Review : Boge 510 LR Carto Vs. Smok Tech 510 LR Dual Coil Mega Carto

Quality control is a big problem for our equipment, and more that likely the biggest problem is cold solder joints. I'm guessing but it's an educated guess. One symptom of a cold joint is working part time and that could be what you have. Another symptom is a high resistance connection. (the connection is touching but doesn't have enough surface area for current flow) That may be what I have on the atty that failed. The good news is that nichrome is pretty tough stuff and lasts quite well if every thing is put together right. :vapor:
