Hey guys I have a weird situation for you, I have never actually smoked cigs before not addicted to nicotine or anything but my cousin who visited had an E-Cig that I just really liked. I only took one or two hits and I dont want to ask him all the details. Basically what im trying to say with all this is I am trying to buy an E-Cig that offers nicotine free flavors (0.00% I dont really want to get addicted) and good flavors would be nice I dont like normal tobacco but menthol or mint or cherry would be nice. Also I would love if it was all black or titanium I dont want to smoke a cig that looks like a cig ;) Its okay if everyone knows its an E-Cig. Lastly id love it if it was cheap the cheaper the better even if it means a little sacrifice. Overall im new to this whole scene just starting to look up how everything works Im so clueless right now only ever seen an ecig once. Thanks a million to anyone that actually reads all this and answers!!

I guess its not that odd to be curious about something. But speaking as a smoker of 37+ years I would tell you to put the whole idea out of your head and never ever think of inhaling anything for fun again. One thing can lead to another and tobacco has ruined too many lives already.

That said, I assume you're an adult and can make your own choices, I certainly am not one to try and impose my ideas on any other person. I only wish the rest of humanity was the same!

If you do decide to proceed, look into the ego. They can be had pretty cheap in the starter kit form and they are as good as anything else to begin with. There is a whole sub-forum on here where you can read up about them.

I'm with Olef on this.

While perusing the forums, you might feel like you're in a bit of a recreational hobby-shop...but the reality is that this is a place where people go to extend their life. From what I understand, more than a few people on this forum wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for this little device.

That being said, I really like the eGo, myself. It's more like a cigar in shape/size, with a button that you have to press....and most of the vendors I've seen sell it in black or stainless steel...even saw one in pink, if that's your thing.

Also...there are tons of vendors for the liquids (And even more flavors than you can think of) and I don't think I've seen one yet that -didn't- offer a 0 nic liquid.

Best of luck,
-X

Yeah, if there's anything I could say to dissuade you from it I would.

I think vaping is God's gift to smokers for sure. I'm of the belief (and some scientific studies agree but not enough yet) that vaping is much better for you than smoking, but in either case you're taking substances inside your body that could harm you. For those that don't smoke, I recommend chewing gum to get some flavor in your mouth. Or be like Bill C and don't inhale ;)

That being said, I love my frankenstein ego-t.

Honestly, go to the top of the page here and click the "Forum Suppliers" and browse through them. They're places that have been used by people here on the forums, and are typically safe to deal with.

Another thing you'll notice, not being a smoker, is that you probably don't have the same amount of disposable income that people here do. I'm sure you can find more than one person that owns every device available, and has a shrine built somewhere in their home... But, a pack-a-day smoker has like 40 dollars a WEEK...that's around 200 dollars a month... and keep in mind, you get what you pay for. :)

I too agree with the previous posters about nicotine but that being said-yes there is 0 mg of nicotine eliquid available. There are so many liquid venders and their liquid is different so I would ask my cousin which liquid he was smoking and where he purchased it. That would be a start and it would save you bookoo dollars in the end. If for some reason you don't want to talk to him I guess you can narrow down the taste and order something you think might be in the ballpark. There is so much liquid out there-from bubblegum to lemon to tobacco flavorings... Did he have a disposable-if so he probably had a K808-not 100% posiitive on this but my first two disposables were. Since you don't have the habit we have you are lucky in that yes you could pick up an inexpensive ecig and it would serve your purpose for recreational vaping. Most starter kits come with carts that have varying mgs of nicotine in it. You could just throw away the nicotine ones and smoke the 0 mg one. But then again on some supplier sites they do mention that even the 0 nicotine liquid contains 1% or less nicotine. Go to the suppliers listed here on this forum and shop around. Good luck and please don't spend too much money on your first ecig.

Please ..Please don't start. Vapeing is not just for fun even without the nicotine. We in this forum are addicted in one way or another. I vape because I am addidcted (I use 0 mg) to the process of smoking and can't seem to kick that habit not because I love it. I love the fact that it is better for me than traditional cigarettes but that is all.

I just started with the e-cigs after smoking for 20ish years. I'd say no, please don't. I wish I had respected my body enough to have never inhaled anything into it. It's not good. Just not good. Vaping is most likely much less harmful than smoking, but certainly it's just not a good idea to intentionally coat your healthy lungs in anything. Please reconsider this idea.

This line bothers me on that link. "This device is limited in quantity, and the stock will not be replenished after supplies run out. Available online only!" That kinda says sorry but no placement parts and we no longer support that product. These things have and need replacement parts. Batteries don't recharge forever and attys wear out.

I am not a smoker and new to vaping so I can sympathize with your situation. Let me just say this about that. You should be able to find most flavors in 0 mg nicotine. Right now I only have one flavor, wintergreen 0 mg. It gives you a light menthol flavor and I will be trying other menthol/mint flavors as I want that to be my main flavor. I do plan to expand into other flavors for a variety. Now to get into this on the cheap I will say buyer beware. Yes you can find stuff cheap but I have found out in my 45 years that you get what you pay for. I no longer settle for the cheapest item out there. There is something to be said for paying a little bit more for quality.

Every time you refresh a page or click to another thread there is a new banner at the top. Start there and see what the vendors have that support this site. Make a list and you will see that there are some popular models like a 510 or ego. I started with an eGo-T last Wednesday and I am very pleased. I have no experience with a 510 but I believe they are cheaper. Keep in mind that a thinner or smaller battery will need recharging more often so you should look for a starter kit with 2 batteries.

There is one thing further that I strongly urge you to consider... Firstly, nicotine, by itself, is more beneficial to health than harmful. However not so much at the quantities we inhale nor when its high tendency of addictiveness comes into play. As you venture into the vaping realm you're bound to wind up getting some into your system. Whether its a vendor mistake, trying a friends juice or what have you... Slippery slope from there my friend. But that's even less of a concern than the fact that we obviously and almost eerily have no idea what long term damage or effect is being caused by inhaling all these bases and flavorings.

So I would ask yourself. Do I need, do I truly want, this foreign, possibly toxic fume in my body? Wafting through my throat nose and mouth? Lazily hazing in my lungs? Coursing through my veins? Floating around in my brain? Is a little curiosity worth all that?

Once you've answered yourself that, then you can plan your next move...

I'm kind of astonished that on most threads we all tout the safety of vaping and the innocuous nature of nicotine, but when someone suggests that he wants to - gasp! - start vaping 0 nic juice, we act like he's thinking of trying h e r o i n, for god's sake. It's a bit of a mixed message. Even if he starts vaping nicotine, without the concomitant chemicals in cigarette smoke it's not a serious addiction. Would we be trying to talk him out of trying that first cup of coffee like it might ruin his life?

OP - I've been very happy with my Riva 510 starter kit from Liberty-Flights.com. Use the discount code "ecf" for 20% off. Everyone that sells e-liquid offers 0 nic liquid. As for cherry flavor, I've not found one that doesn't taste like cough syrup.
