Hi all, im lookig to order some backup equipment. Currently have a vision spinner II and kanger aerotank and looking to order something similar. Ive been on fasttech and can see vision spinner II "style" batteries. So my question is....does anyone have any experience with the copies? Are these lower quality chinese versions? And also....is there no copyright law on ecig equip? Lol seems to be copies of everything readily available!

Hi Benson.

Most of us on AAEC have bought cheap eGos from Fasttech at some point. Now and again, people get lucky. Mostly though, they are not as good as the originals.

I only buy the products labelled 'authentic' when it comes to batteries, clearomisers and atomisers.

However, nearly all my RBAs are clones. It just takes a while to get the feel of what is good or not. Fasttech filter out the worst negative reviews.

Fake spinners are a total crap shoot, I have had good/great ones and bad ones too.

Onr thing that has been constant with the bad one's is the markings for the spinner will be obviously too high. There are other ways to tell, like overall weight and the color and materials on the spinner and the 510/ego smoothness of the spinner but you kinda have to have it in your hand,,,,,,, so too late at that point.

Thanks for the replies guys, so you all kind of confirmed my suspisions regarding the fakes. So on looking around for the cheapest original option, i have noticed that I dont see the words "Original" or "Authentic" on any of them, so how on earth do you know what you are buying even if not buiying from Fastech? Is it possible to buy direct from the manufacturers?

It is. BUT, you have to cross some tricky challenges. Buying in bulk... easy as anything.

However, one think to point out is this;

Some of the 'big' name e-cig companies have official internet stores. Joyetech, Kanger etc. You don't want to shop there, as they will kill you on the prices.
Joyetech UK, as an example will overcharge you without blinking. You can buy genuine Joyetech products elsewhere.

As for Kanger, Innokin, Aspire etc. you can buy from the trusted independent vaping shops with no concern for getting clones or fake products.

Vape Escape, Cloud 9, Myepack, iVapour,... they all sell the genuine article(s) which is more than can be said for some stores that avoid mentioning they are selling you cheap clones. I can't say 'who' these stores are (I'd get in trouble), but let's just say, some of them are big and google finds them up the list from the shops that UK vapers use and trust.

It all depends what you want though. Most of my stuff is from those shops I mention. I also have fasttech stuff too.

:)
