Fake/Counterfeit 510?

Hello,
I recently purchased a Joye 510 from cignot.com. I received it in the mail today, though, instead of the brand name being labeled on the device the word "cignot" is printed instead.. Do I have a counterfeit product?

Also, the usb charger does not let you know when the cig is charged... (no indicator light), is this right?

I have purchased a lot of batts, attys, and whatnots (except the usb charger, but they take up to 3 hours to charge) of the 510 kind from cignot.com and Vicki is my #1 vendor. Trust me, cignot's products are great. I've had better luck with her 510s than actual "genuine" Joyes, but I think her stuff is genuine. Believe me, cignot is a GREAT company!

Abou the branding I think it's a clone, whics is not the same as a conterfeit, there are a lot of brands selling the 510.

About the charger I think that's not normal, all my chargers had indicator light...

That does confuse me as well, but regardless it'll take up to 3 hours to charge.

Cignot has a pretty great rep around here. Kinda doubt it is a knock off. Joye stuff is usually not marked or branded as such. But joye will brand suppliers stuff with a logo usually costs bit more. I think this might be a case of a joye product branded with a cignot logo.

Hmm.. well, it WAS listed on the site as a "Joye" product.

The USB cable has no light, but the wall adapter does. So basically I need to just time it when I'm using USB only.

ive ordered from cignot before and they will always come branded with the cignot logo but I am reasonably sure that they are genuine joye products, joyetech is a chinese company and they tend to have no problems putting whatever logo you want on what they produce for you. I am actually reasonably sure that joyetech also produces the volcano inferno and a decent portion of the other clones as well but I cannot verify that. if you are worried about it post here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cignot/ and I am sure that Vicky will be able to offer a better explanation of the rebranding process.

I'm not necessarily "worried" about it, as I already knew that most of the people on this forum are very familiar with cignot products, I found it an appropriate place to ask the question.

Ok. So I come to the conclusion that it really doesn't matter anymore! These things are AWESOME!! I am so sold. The draw on this thing is so realistic, they are just gorgeous to look at, lol. No prime puff to worry about, it just vaps on the first hit. AND IT DOESN'T LEAK INTO MY MOUTH! I officially quite smoking analogues as of this day.

Cignot is genuine Joye products...and they have their cignot logo on them. You have genuine Joye.

If Cignot says it is Joye then it is Joye with their name added. Normal Joyes have no printing on them at all

Cignot used to sell both Joye and a clone and clearly labeled each as what they were and as well explained that the clone might not have as good durability. Now they seem to sell just Joye 510

My original eGo that I bought from Cignot was nto branded in any way but when I bought the type B atty and tanks, the atty was. I have never had any problem with Cignot and as someone else mentioned if you have a question ask her.

I believe your right about the type B thing. That is what I had ordered. I actually tried to ask cignot first before I came to this forum. I have received no response to this day.. oh well. Its all good because I still enjoy my new 510. I have been getting lots of people around my town asking all about it. Sometime I find myself getting so much into showing it off, I believe I probably look more to them like a salesman for the product than anything, haha.

I'm really surprised that Vicki did nto respond. Everytime I have emailed her, it is like she was sitting there waitning for my email. I usually get a response in about 5-10 minutes.

I'm surprised that vicki didn't respond as well, she's always been quick with her responses. I can only imagine how many kits cignot sells to be able to do that with joye - they won't even talk to you unless you are ordering a thousand kits, never mind branding them for you.

Alright, apparently Vicki had sent me a response to my inquiry, though, it went to my spam folder for some dumb reason. So basically, yes, she sold me genuine joye products. Joye prints the cignot name on the battery's for her.
I'm still looking for a flavor that appeals to me but I'm sure I'll come across one soon.
