I recently bought 2x "Genuine" purple efest 3000mAh 35A batteries from an ebay vendor with the name "juicemonkeystore", that even shows an efest certificate of authorization (View) in all of his listings.

I received the batteries, and after scratching the anti-counterfeit and verifying the batteries, none of the batteries seem to get verified..

Here are some close-by pictures i took to help identify if the batteries are fake:

Probably fake, and if they are authentic they are most likely mislabeled with higher ratings than they truly are. I personally wouldn't use them for anything more than a paper weight.
Everything seems pretty ok when i checked if they are authentic, except the authentication code, of course..
I got these for my XCUBE 2.. Should i not use them..? :3

They are probably fine.... The 35a Efest - batts tend to be over rated, Treat them as a 20AMP battery NO MORE. and you will be fine. I have a pair of 35amp Efest, I have been using DAILY for a year. Granted I vape in the 5 amp range.

As i won't use those, they are no longer maried, and will use them for my 1 battery mods.

I personaly only use Sony Vtc4's and samsung 25R's
    I ordered a pair of 25r's like 30 minutes ago :)

I found this video on youtube, which the batteries look exactly the same and i'm pretty sure he got the batteries from the same seller.. :#

These here in the video look like the ones I have.

The ones you have and the word "Efest" in different font, and white. The ones in the video have black font.

The ones you have, have the "3000 mAh" positioned differently than the "2500 mAh" in the video.

Yeah, they may be real, there's actually info on authenticity on efestpower.com, and yours look like the updated label - BUT

...eFest is OK, but not if you really need anything like a 35 amp battery.
You did the right thing - they're fine for a low stress environment - a mod that's running over 0.5 ohms, etc. But for pairing, or for low subohming, you want Samsung or a Sony or an LG probably...

I know. I noticed. But, the ebay seller has also those batteries, and generally all of efest's "authentic" batteries..
