How do you get the catfish smell off of your Reo? Soak it in the Paste!......

For the type of outdoor activities you enjoy, I'd say a Provari may be right up your alley. Built like a tank, easy to clean and if it ever breaks down or needs a repair, you have Provape in your corner. I understand that they even clean them up for you if or when they are in need of repair.

Sweet! Soak it in Paste? Anchovy and catfish!

This coming from the REO enabler of the century! You're such a great guy Sloth! I thought if anyone would lovingly tease me on this it would be you! But you are right, I love vaping NT juice and no stinkies for me! Thanks!

Naw I'd never tease anybody over what they use. I only care that another live was saved from tobacco. Beyond that, I only care what *I* use if that makes sense, whatever other people use is none of my business and I'm here to help and encourage you in your path the best that a sloth can :)

I'll be honest.........its hard for me to even comprehend what you are saying but that is only because I have found my happy vaping place and you have to find yours too. Thank goodness there are so many options out there to achieve the main goal of vaping. Being smokefree. Good luck to you. :) It doesn't really matter what you use because everyone is a part of the ecf family. That's what makes it so special around here.

I am a variable wattage/voltage rebuildable tank person myself. I started with a Provari mini, bought a DNA 30 clone, and now want a vaporshark RDNA. I mainly use my Svoemesto kayfun lite plus v2 with the air flow screw removed, but hope to add a Erlkonigin tank soon.
I have a mech, dripper, etc.,but tanks on VV/VW are my all day device for vaping happiness.

I'm a Dodge girl, but all trucks are good...and silly, cowboy, trucks are for girls!

You know, there is some truth to that. My wife and I are fortunate enough to be able to have multiple vehicles and although we bought her a Mini Cooper s convertible, she often steals both of my/our Dodge trucks! Me thinks she likes to take advantage of the loading zones.......

So here goes! As some of you know, I just got a REO recently and I was so excited because I dreamed about it for a long time! I know this will be a shocker and not make any sense to most of you, but I just didn't love it. It had nothing to do with not liking making coils or making perfect cotton wicks, because if I say so myself, I did an excellent job! I just can't pin point what it was, but I just knew it was not what I needed. So as of today, my REO mini 2.1 is on its way to a new loving home, where it will be loved and cherished as it should be!

So my journey will continue and I welcome any suggestions my NT family might have! I absolutely love my MVP and will be looking into making it better. I am definitely a tank type gal and am no longer afraid of making coils, after all I have all the equipment now!
So please don't tar and feather me! Although I might look great in some peacock feather! I am really looking for options to give me a better vaping experience on my MVPs.

Please forgive me and let me stay in the family because I Love it here!

Signed,
Fallen REOnot :(

Why, you little... kidding... I'm kidding. Vaping is your thing - it's not for anyone else to decide. Whatever works is cool beans (bigger picture to think about, no?).

Now, if you like your MVP, you'd prolly like a VaporShark DNA or rDNA 30. They work the same way as the MVP and give you more vaping style options (e.g., you can vape with more power or slightly sub-ohm coils if you like). The wife has the rDNA and absolutely loves it (she, too, of the "nope, not gonna reomize" mindset).

As for tank toppers, the kayfun family is a good place to look for rebuildables and I have to give props to the Nautilus mini (with BVC) - that little thing kicks out vapor and flavour well above its weight class.

OMG the nails! I felt like I was going to poke a hole in the bottle! I'm glad to know I'm not losing my mind because I just like pushing the button on my MVP and vaping! I loved the size of the mini REO and it would be awesome if they made a mini MVP! Having the REO was like dating, sometimes it's a match and sometimes you know it's not a forever kind of love! My heart just didn't flutter!

For the "finger nail challenged" this isn't the first time this has come up with a Reo. The solution is (was) to insert a piece of dense foam material (can't recall exactly what is used) into the opening in the door and press on that instead to squonk. If you ask on the Reos forum one of the gals will know.

your time

With a mech like your reo, you need to build the coils 1.2 - 1.8 ohms. It will be a difficult t first to find the right resistance for you favorite juice. Take your time, as this is not a beginner's device. However, it will be easy once you get the hang of it.

Shoot for 1.5 or so and work from there. Try it before you give up. Building coils is easy once you get the hang of it.

I could not agree more. It takes a few builds for one to find their preferred sweet spot with most any rebuild able device.

So many options! I am so thankful to all of you and I feel like a kid in a candy shop right now. I have been so use to the MVP and my egos, and dreaming of a REO, that I didn't really realize that so many of you used gear in addition to your REOs. I've been reading the thread about the Nautilus mini and the vertical coil and my son just got one that I get to try tomorrow! Now I am going to take a look at what the Vapor shark and Rdna 30!

This is the Nicoticket family. It's not necessary to own/use a Reo. A lot of us love them...some of us don't. So, find what works for Y O U. That is what's important!

Got my new Reo going last night and I'm not in love either. My first coil came in at 2.1ohm so that might be why I don't see it as much better than my aerotanks.
Haven't read all the posts yet (I know...bad) but before you give up, try somewhere between 1.2 to 1.5 ohms. Coil position to air flow and deck makes a difference as well.

That bird is also gorgeous. You should get a shot of birdy perched on your REO with a new 1-ish ohm coil in it ;) that would be an awesome picture and coil! :D

You obviously don't have a parrot! Everything, and I mean everything is a potential chew toy to them! They really want my red vision spinner, lol!

But, thank you for the compliment :). Pete thanks you as well. He wouldn't fit on the Reo either! He's about 16" long and weighs over a pound.

Do these coils need a little time to break in? I'm getting some truly awesome taste tonight on the Reo! Maybe this coil isn't so bad after all.

Um, I don't know what others will say but sometimes I think the answer is yes. And wick too - at least if you're using organic cotton. I find that the coil tastes better after being vaped on for a bit, and the wick tastes better after only a few drags. For that reason I usually squonk the bejeebus out of a new wick and fire without the top cap on - watch them juiceys fly, baby!!! :2cool:

One thing I've been thoroughly enjoying about my REO today especially is the ability to drip a different juice on for a nice change-up, but after a couple squonks I'm back to tasting only what's in the bottle. I've got Virus loaded in anticipation for my "Viral Saturday" (I vape Virus every Saturday, it's my busy day at work and Virus is awesome for it) but today kept dripping in PBC, Frenilla, and CLS, just to mix it up. Yet it always goes back to pure Virus. I freaking loved vaping today. BTW Virus + PBC is waaay better than it sounds :)
