I just like the fact that if we can get this bill tossed out, then at least that gives hope to those of you currently going through this in other states.

Thanks also to all who wrote and called. One of the staff members told me that, though she wasn't counting, it seemed as if they'd gotten *hundreds* of letters, emails, and phone calls.

SB3174's web page states that the bill has been sent back to the Rules Committee per rule 19(a) ... which means it's over for this session.

That is indeed excellent news. Now, on to New York. If we can do it there, we can do it anywhere, it's up to us....New York........New York.
Good ole Illinois. Now that they know there is a controversy associated with e cigs they post pone their decision to see who will pay them off before making a ruling.

It's from 3 weeks ago, before the first hearing at which vapors made a wonderful showing and before the bill was not called as slated this past Wednesday.
This is over for the spring legislative session here in Illinois, but they can bring it back up so we will need to be watchful in the coming months to see what they do.
