Okay I messed up and my order won't be showing until tomorrow afternoon and I only have the tiniest drop of e-lquid left. I am starting to freak a little lol

Anyhow I thought I would perhaps try to get some PG and some flavoring and mix up something to get me buy even if it won't have nic. I live in a very rural community and we do have a feed store close by. I've heard you can get PG for cattle just wonder what I should be looking for when I head down there....

Where? Trucks hauling USP items? If you mean tanker trucks, if what came from that tanker is labeled USP it must meet the same compounding, container, and purity standard as any USP source. If you mean a USP labeled container hauled by a common carrier to be delivered to a pharmacy, that USP compound has to meet the same strict rules and regulations as the bulk USP compound delivered by tanker.

I suggest you read up on the laws and regulations in the U.S. Something properly labeled "USP" must meet the same standard regarding manufacture, handling, packaging, and compounding regardless of end-use.

Once the rules/regulations regarding USP compounds have been violated, that substance can no longer be labeled "USP" - it becomes something else. THAT I would be careful about.

Look at, for example, the sample USP monograph at http://www.usp.org/pdf/EN/USPNF/paroxetineHydrochloride.pdf

Any compound of paroxetineHydrochloride that does not meet the standards for purity, allowed impurities and packaging as given in the monograph may not be labeled "USP" according to Federal law as enforced by the FDA.

Sure, I could label tap water as "Distilled Water, USP" and try to sell it (assuming distilled water is a USP-covered compound) but would be in violation of the law if I did so. It's to agro-business' advantage to use USP formulations rather than any old compound, animals react poorly to impure medicine just as do humans. USP is a mark of purity and safety in veterinary use just as it is in human medicine.

If you know what you are buying you'd be surprised what you can get at ''the farm store''
If you know what you are doing, you can save alot of money buying livestock products in lieu of people/pet products.

Love the farm stores, I get clothes, car stuff, pet stuff, people food in addition to livestock items. Not dead yet!

I think I'll go check out what type of pg ours carries. Love the smell of the farm stores in the spring time for some reason.

Thanks for the tip Amy, I am out in IL but knowing I can get some vg at the tractor supply or farm and fleet will ease my worries about future juice supplies.
