Luckily I've not experienced this ... at least my SO has never mentioned it
We used the Atkins Diet a few years ago and discovered the wonders of Maltitol
We call it Fartitol.
Room clearing septic tank equivalent of sucralose.
Constant farts of epic proportions and intensity.
Total biohazard.
Maybe we're absorbing enough sweetener (sucralose) to exacerbate our lowered metabolism
Lower peristalsis = longer fart steeping time
They smell so deaf people can enjoy them too.

So, i thought I'd re-post my comment here...
I read somewhere on here that vaping gives us dry mouth. I know from experience that when I have "Dry" mouth I tend to swallow more air and foamy saliva. I think this might have something to do with it and they call it vapors tongue. I believe the best way to help this would be to drink more liquids. Of course a frothy headed beverage would make it worse.

I've now read TWO threads having to do with flatus and vaping, and the hypotheses are pretty funny, and oddly intricate.
I too have noticed that my farts, which have been historically quite voluminous, have become much more pungent, like WAY more (eyewateringly).
Turns out that recent research suggests that quitting smoking of analogs causes a rather significant change in the ex-smokers intestinal flora, which, by the way, is the real source of the gas in the first place.

There is another thread about this, the consensus is that it does cause increased gas in many vapers
Awesome! With this knowledge I can confidently Dutch oven my wife on a regular basis! She's going to be excited when I share the news...
I noticed in time moving from cigarettes that my sense of smell has come back. Maybe my rips smelled that way the whole time and I just never noticed.. completely makes me rethink all those times I let one slip and didnt think anyone noticed.
